Obama Wont Be Able to Toss Blagojevich Under the Buss

Oh, it is so convenient and predictable for Obama to say he had not talked, that he was aware of, with Governor Blagojevich (D-Ill). The Governor of Illinois was caught trying to sell Obama's relinquished Senate seat, among other things.

I knew Obama would try to fend the critics, but I found that back in November 28, 2008, Obama did have that conversation with Blagojevich.

On December 9, 2008,
When asked what contact Obama had with the governor about his replacement in the Senate, Obama said, "I had no contact with the governor or his office and so we were not, I was not aware of what was happening."

Rewind back to November 23, 2008, Obama's senior adviser David Axelrod said on Fox News Chicago that Obama told Blagojevich he had not expressed a favorite to replace him. Axelrod said, "I know he's talked to the governor and there are a whole range of names many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of them."

Another typical lie that I would expect from Obama. But unlike the favoritism by the MSM, this story is not going to die. Every media outlet will dig its teeth till the truth comes out. This type of news is the "kiss of death" for those who ignores it. With the MSM dying every living moment, this story will sell papers.

Even though there is no allegations that Obama had anything to do with Gov. Blagojevich scandal yet, there are serious questions arise about the relationship between Obama and Blagojevich. It is a fact that Obama endorsed Blagojevich gubernatorial bid in 2002 and 2006 and served as a top adviser to the Illinois governor in Obamas first 2002 run for the state house.

In fact, there are indications that Mr. Obama was going to offer a simple "thank you" if Blagojevich appointed Obama's friend Valerie Jarrett to take his U.S. Senate seat.

But there are questions about how Blagojevich knew that Mr. Obama was not willing to give him anything in exchange for the Senate seat. Who did Blagojevich spoke to in those FBI tapes? Did that disgruntled person report the governor to the authorities?

It is early to know what's going to happen, but don't be fooled between their relationship. Like Wright, Resko, and Ayers, there is a long history of support and political alliances built between Obama and Blagojevich. This is very significant that will hurt Obama's political capital. If this transpires that Obama was involved in the scandal, 2009 will be a exceptional year for a nice impeachment proceeding. I just hope this all occurs by Christmas. It would be a perfect Christmas gift.
