Michelle Obama the Meanest First Lady

Michelle Obama is a very unique character. The First Lady believes she is better than any American. As Michelle Obama tells us to eat fresh veggies, she scoffs down a 1700 calorie lunch. As Michelle Obama tells us to watch our weight, she gorges on fried wings and fried Snickers. As Michelle Obama tells us to watch our fat and sugar intake, she devours on french fries and donuts. In fact, our First Lady is a hypocrite. Now, the First Lady has a new role. Michelle Obama is the attack dog for her husband. It is bewildering to understand Michelle Obama mean streak. It is probably she was a disgrace lawyer who had her license revoke in Illinois. Well, it could be a contributing factor.

(WashingtonTimes) Michelle’s back, and she’s madder than ever. She was already pretty angry, seemingly unhappy with just about everything. As her husband wrapped up the Democratic nomination in 2008, she let fly her real feelings: “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country.” A few months into her job as first lady, her French counterpart asked how she liked the gig: “Don’t ask!” she reportedly spat. “It’s hell. I can’t stand it!”

She even seems to be mad at her silver-tongued husband. When the two were to set off on a luxurious 10-day vacation to Martha’s Vineyard, she left early - four hours early - and flew up alone. And those private vacations. She’s traveled to some of the world’s most plush resorts, taking 42 days off in the past year - that’d be eight weeks of vacay time if she held down a normal job.

Now, she is ready to spew her bilious disgust with America on the campaign trail. A dignified, transcendent first lady? No chance. Michelle is going to break with a hundred years of tradition and play the role of attack dog, heaping derision on her husband’s political opponents like no other first lady before her.

Media Smears Cain Because He is a Strong Black Conservative

The media is trying to level the playing field for the GOP primaries. Herman Cain has propelled up in rank leaving many of the GOP contenders behind. The media hate conservatives rising in popularity, especially a black conservative. I would think it would be a nice contrast between two black men with two different philosophies got at it in the general election. I thought giving the American public a good show was the purpose of the media.

View Video- Coulter: Politico's Smear Of Cain Shows Liberal Media "Terrified Of Strong, Conservative, Black Men"

(RealClearPolitics) Ann Coulter responds to a report from the "liberal publication" Politico that Herman Cain sexually harassed two women while he was the president of the National Restaurant Association.

"Liberals are terrified of Herman Cain. He is a strong conservative black man. Look at the way they go after Allen West and Michael Steele and they aren't even running against Obama. They are terrified of strong, conservative, black men," Coulter said.

The most damning part of the report, which is not well sourced, seems to be that Mr. Cain made "physical gestures" that weren't sexual in nature, but made the women uncomfortable:

"There were also descriptions of physical gestures that were not overtly sexual but that made women who experienced or witnessed them uncomfortable and that they regarded as improper in a professional relationship."

On Sunday's edition of CNN's "Reliable Sources," one of Politico's top writers Roger Simon accused Rick Perry of being a racist, and said being one is helpful for a candidate in the Republican primary.

God Dumps Snow and Misery on the Occupy Wall Steet

In the past 48 hours, Americans are witnessing a freak winter storm in the Northeast. From a pleasant temperate fall weather, it turned miserably cold and damp for the Occupy Wall Street protesters in NYC. As for like-minded Christians, the 3-inch snowfall dumped on the protesters was a sign from the heavens. It was God telling the protesters to knock it off and go home. It is interesting to note that the Occupy Wall Street protesters raised close to $500,000. It would be nice to know who donated the money to them. Raising half a million dollar is extraordinary for a group that is very disorganized.

(CBSNewYork) – Saturday’s snow storm made life in Zuccotti Park miserable for Occupy Wall Street protesters.

Demonstrators were left drenched with rain and then snow as the storm moved through the region. Central Park set a record for both the date and the month of October with 2.9 inches of snow.

Those camping out in the park have been stockpiling donated blankets, scarves, coats and have been trying to get more tents, cots and tarps.

Reportedly, some have been even getting winter weather survival tips from the homeless.

They say they’re also looking for thermal heaters after fire officials removed six of the protesters’ gas-powered generators from Zuccotti Park on Friday, saying it was safety issue.

Without generators, protesters were left with just flashlights and lanterns. Lights, cooking equipment and the media center at Zuccotti Park were all turned off.

Fire officials say storing gasoline in such packed quarters is simply too dangerous.

The movement is also expected to reveal just how much money they have raised and spent in the first five weeks of the Occupy Wall Street campaign.

OWS has reportedly raised nearly $454,000 and has spent more than $50,000 so far for things like food, clothing, medical supplies, laundry, media and other expenses.

Pelosi Defends Obamacare Waivers To 1,800 Firms

Pelosi tried to duck a right cross, but was unable to counter a body blow to the stomach. The former House Speaker acted like an idiot in an interview with CNBC. In reference to Obamacare, she was defending the president's position by giving waivers to 1,800 companies. Pelosi keeps referring to them as small companies, but she forgot that McDonalds, one of the nation's largest employers, got the first wavier. It is hard to defend stupidity.

Click Video: Pelosi Defends Obamacare Waivers To 1,800 Firms: "They're Small Companies"

"They're small. I couldn't speak to all 1,800 of them, but some of the lists that I have seen have been very, very small companies. They will not have a big impact on the economy of our country," Nancy Pelosi said in an interview with CNBC.

McDonalds, one of the nation's largest employers in recent years, has received a waiver.

Egyptian Military Likes to be in Power. Not Giving it Up

I wrote many months ago that a shift of power from a dictator to the military will be problematic. Since the people of Egypt ousted Mubarak in February 2011, the Egyptian military took power. For the past 8 months, the military is enjoying the power as a governing body. It is clear the transition will be a long process. The election in Egypt is next month and I don't think the military will accept a newly elected Parliament. There are hints that the newly elected body will compose of many Mubarak supporters. If so, the Egyptian protest was all for naught.

(Breitbart) Several thousand protesters in Cairo called on the ruling military on Friday to promptly transfer power to a civilian government and exclude old regime figures from politics.

The protesters in Tahrir Square, the epicentre of Egypt's uprising that ousted president Hosni Mubarak in February, chanted "down with the military" and called on the ruling generals to "return to the barracks."

The military assumed power after Mubarak's ouster on February 11, promising a transition to civilian rule within six months. It is headed by Mubarak's former defence minister Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi.

Protesters at first hailed the military for not cracking down on the uprising after Mubarak called soldiers to the streets on January 28, following attacks on police stations.

But its popularity has eroded amid accusations of rights abuses and suspicion that it is prolonging the transition, which it now says will be happen after presidential elections sometime next year.

Egypt will vote for a new parliament starting on November 28, but parties and activists who spearheaded the anti-Mubarak revolt fear his supporters will enter parliament, either as independents or members of newly formed parties.

Obama Lure Back College Students Who Voted For Him in 2008

Free money does come with a price. In other words, nothing in life is free. This is another scam to bring back college student who support Obama in 2008. Of course, the stupidity of the youth will bite them hard down the road. If the bill passes in Congress, there will be a serious consequences and a never ending vicious cycle. Like the housing bubble, banks gave away loans to anybody interested in buying a house. Doing so, it allowed the price of a home to sky rocket. It is called supply and demand. The effort was nice, but the aftermath led to downfall of the economy. By giving an incentive to default on a student loan, it will allow schools to increase their price. Because inflation makes it harder for the middle-class family to afford paying their own tuition, it will drive them into the government financing program, which, will drive up the cost further still.

(FoxNews) In keeping with his new campaign theme of “we can’t wait,” President Obama today will roll out a plan to put more money in the pockets of some of the nation’s 36 million student loan recipients.

Obama argued for the measure in 2009 as a cost-savings initiative, saying that the old system of privately issued, government secured loans reduced the amount of available money for needy students and also prevented the feds from making the system more efficient.

But Obama is now seeking to use that new power to obtain a taxpayer-financed stimulus that Congress won’t approve. The idea is to cap student loan repayment rates at 10 percent of a debtor’s income that goes above the poverty line, and then limiting the life of a loan to 20 years.

Take this example: If Suzy Creamcheese gets into George Washington University and borrows from the government the requisite $212,000 to obtain an undergraduate degree, her repayment schedule will be based on what she earns. If Suzy opts to heed the president’s call for public service, and takes a job as a city social worker earning $25,000, her payments would be limited to $1,411 a year after the $10,890 of poverty-level income is subtracted from her total exposure.

Twenty years at that rate would have taxpayers recoup only $28,220 of their $212,000 loan to Suzy.

The president will also allow student debtors to refinance and consolidate loans on more favorable terms, further decreasing the payoff for taxpayers.

Obama’s move comes at a moment when many economists are warning of a college debt bubble that is distorting college tuition rates and threatening to further damage credit markets. The president’s move is intended to make college more affordable for more people, which will, in turn allow universities to jack up their rates.

Rick Perry Hints He Will Not Do Future Debates

If Rick Perry is scared of debates, he will not be effective in defending his position as president. Rick Perry is a coward to defend on his issues. As I have said so many times, Perry is not ready for prime-time.

(Politico) Rick Perry, who made clear during his Bill O'Reilly interview last night that he finds the debate formats geared toward promoting a fight, is going to the No. 9 one after that - but is a question mark for some of the glut of face-offs after that.

Perry spokesman Mark Miner said the issue is using time wisely, and noted their campaign is not alone in that.

"I think all the campaigns are expressing frustration right now," Miner told POLITICO. "We said we would do Michigan but the primaries are around the corner and you have to use your time accordingly."

TSA Finds Sex Toy in Luggage and Humiliate Passenger

If TSA don't respect other peoples property, there is a good chance they won't respect passengers going through the body scanner. It is obvious the TSA agent wouldn't be stealing someone else vibrator, but it won't stop them from taking something more valuable. TSA must be abolish. They are a joke.

(Infowars) UPDATE: Filipovic has since told ABC News that she found the note “offensive” and has decided to file a complaint with the TSA.

“I hope they do see the complaint, they’ll look into it and remind their staff that going through people’s personal belongings is a responsibility that should be treated with some modicum of professionalism,” Filipovic said.

Not satisfied with fumbling through Americans’ private possessions, one TSA screener saw fit to make a humiliating joke about the contents, writing a personal message on a TSA inspection note after finding a sex toy in writer Jill Filipovic’s luggage.

After arriving at her hotel, Filipovic was unpacking when she discovered her bag had been individually searched by a TSA screener who, having seen the “personal item,” saw fit to comment, writing “GET YOUR FREAK ON GIRL” on the reverse side of an inspection notice.

“Total violation of privacy, wildly inappropriate and clearly not ok, but I also just died laughing in my hotel room,” wrote Filipovic.

While proving themselves adept at identifying women’s vibrators, TSA screeners are notoriously less skilled at actually doing what they’re paid to do – find dangerous items.

Perhaps Filipovic should be relieved that the TSA goon didn’t just steal the item, but they only tend to do that when it’s something really valuable like a laptop, jewelry, precious metals, or cash.

67,000 passenger loss claims have been filed against the TSA since 2003, a figure the federal agency finds completely acceptable.
TSA screeners missed a loaded gun inside a checked bag at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday.

Obama Stimulus Money Created More Jobs Overseas

This is were the stimulus money went and the jobs it was suppose to create. The money went to countries making our product. That is where the jobs went. American can not blame Bush. This is Obama's mess and responsibility.

Michelle Obama Gets More Media Attention Than Laura Bush

Michelle Obama got more attention from the media than Laura Bush, but there is a big reason for it. Laura Bush kept out of the spot light and was diligent not to make a fool of herself. On the other hand, Michelle Obama's gaffe and hypocrisy has landed headline news. From saying "being proud of America for the first time of her adult life" to eating a 1700 calorie lunch, Michelle Obama is a walking contradiction and a media darling. The First Lady role is not to make herself into a media attention. For Michelle Obama, it is something she enjoys doing.

(Washington Times) A media research firm says Michelle Obama has gotten nearly 30,000 mentions in the press since her husband was elected president, more than tripling the attention paid her predecessor, Laura Bush, during the equivalent time.

HighBeam Research scoured the 6,500 publications it tracks to see how often each was mentioned from the time her husband was elected until Oct. 20 of the third year he was in office — 2003 in the case of Mrs. Bush, and 2011 for Mrs. Obama.

The current first lady steamrolled, garnering 29,634 mentions, compared to 8,707 for Mrs. Bush in the nearly three-year periods under review.

There was a Reason Why Obama Pulled Troops from Iraq

There is a reason why Hilary Clinton put a stern threat with Iran when Obama announce a complete troop withdrawal. Obama lack of a foreign policy and lack of diplomacy shut down talks with the leaders of Iraq. Eventually, the failed talks led to a complete troop pull out. Because Iran is a threat, Iraq is not a stable country. Obama premature troop withdrawal will cause a huge void. I will lead to further destabilization in the region. Unfortunately, Obama rhetoric in keeping a campaign promise is disingenuous. Obama failed in the negotiation process that led to a pull out. The president should have said that in the first place.

(Heritage) To hear President Barack Obama describe the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, you’d think it was a long-anticipated political victory, the fruition of a promise he made when campaigning for the White House. But his announcement last week that American troops in Iraq will return by the end of the year is a result of a serious Obama Administration failure that will undermine U.S. security interests in the Middle East.

Speaking on Friday from the West Wing, President Obama wasted no time in reminding the American people that, “As a candidate for President, I pledged to bring the war in Iraq to a responsible end,” and that as commander in chief, he was making good on that promise in time for the holidays. What the President didn’t mention, though, was the story behind the headline–that the Administration tried and failed to negotiate with the Iraqi government to extend the U.S. troop presence there in order to ensure the country’s security and stability. The sticking point for the negotiations was immunity for U.S. troops in Iraq. Heritage’s James Phillips explains:

Up until Friday, the Obama Administration had insisted that negotiations were on track for extending the presence of a small residual force that U.S. and Iraqi military leaders agreed were necessary to support Iraqi operations in key areas such as counterterrorism, air support, intelligence gathering, logistics, and training. But Friday, in a hard-hitting article posted on The Cable blog, Josh Rogin reported that the Administration had bungled the negotiations.

Those negotiations stalled, Phillips writes, because Iraqi political leaders didn’t want to risk the political consequences of extending immunity for U.S. troops. And given the Obama Administration’s eagerness to withdraw from Iraq and unwillingness to confront Iran they didn’t want to put their political necks on the line. Now, as a result, U.S. security interests will suffer–bilateral U.S.–Iraqi cooperation in fighting al-Qaeda in Iraq and radical pro-Iranian Shia militias will be limited, and the ability to contain Iran will be weakened.

Occupy Wall Street Causing Unlivable Disease Prone Environment

If there is a health code violation being committed, officials are responsible to stop the spread of the infection. The Wall Street protesters have turned a pretty park into a rat infested garbage dump. If these protesters continue to create an environment that may jeopardize the city of New York, it will be a burden to hospitals, polices, fire departments, EMS, and nearby businesses. The only solution is drop a napalm on top of these protesters and call it a day.

(NY Post) — Filth-ridden Zuccotti Park is a breeding ground for bacterial infection loaded with potential health-code violations that pose a major risk to the public, an expert who inspected the area warned.

“It’s like Walmart for rats,’’ Wayne Yon, an expert on city health regulations, said yesterday.

“There’s a lack of sanitation, a lack of controls for hot and cold water,” Yon said. He saw at least 15 violations of the city’s health code — the type that would easily shut down a food establishment.

He noted the lack of lavatory facilities, as neighbors repeatedly complain about protesters defecating in the area and the stench of urine.

Yon also pointed to unsanitary conditions in wash bins for cleaning food utensils.

“It looks extraordinarily dirty, and [the bin] should be changed once it starts to get dirty,” said Yon, who works for EHA Consulting Group Inc. Then he pointed to a pigeon in a tree right above where the protesters were washing dishes.

“There’s no overhead coverings. Pigeons are basically vermin,” Yon said.

He said there’s inadequate hand washing, the No. 1 culprit for food-borne illnesses in restaurants.

Obama Praises Tunisia Newly Formed Islamic Government

President Obama praised the elections that was held in Tunisia today. It was the first election since the revolt that started the Arab Spring. After ousting a dictator from the country, the Tunisians wanted a new constitution. However, the projected winner of the election favors a strict Islamic state.

Obama said, "The United States reaffirms its commitment to the Tunisian people as they move toward a democratic future that offers dignity, justice, freedom of expression, and greater economic opportunity for all...I congratulate the millions of Tunisians who voted in the first democratic elections to take place in the country that changed the course of history and began the Arab Spring...Now, Tunisia begins the hard work of forming an interim government, drafting a new constitution, and charting a democratic course that meets the aspirations of all Tunisians."

Obama has no idea the magnitude of this elected Islamic party. It is a very conservative Islamic party with moderate leadership. Our president is duped thinking that this newly form government won't have some element of radicalism.

(BBC) Tunisians have voted in their first truly free elections.

More than 90% of registered voters have turned out to cast their ballot in Tunisia's election, the first free poll of the Arab Spring, officials say.

Tunisians are electing a 217-seat assembly that will draft a constitution and appoint an interim government.

Former President Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali was overthrown nine months ago after mass demonstrations.

Islamist party Ennahda is expected to win the most votes, though it is not clear if it will gain a majority.

Mr Ben Ali fled Tunisia on 14 January amid the first of several mass uprisings across the Arab world.

Campaigning in Tunisia has been marked by concerns over splits between Islamists and secularists, party funding and voter apathy.

Electoral commission secretary-general Boubaker Bethabet said more than 90% of the 4.1 million registered citizens had voted. No figures were available for another 3.1 million unregistered people who also had the right to vote.

Polling stations began to close at 19:00 (18:00 GMT) but people still queuing at that time were being allowed to stay and cast their vote, AFP said.

Results are expected by Monday.

Obama Supports Libya Being an Islamic State Ruled by Sharia Law

Obama lead the attack that killed Gaddafi. Now, the president welcomes the new government, which turns out to be a radical Islamic state ruled by Sharia Law. Excellent job, Obama. Not only you support assassination of high profile political leaders, you also destabilized the entire region in the Middle East. Obama has no idea about foreign policy. It will affect us as a nation when these radical Islamic states support terrorism.

(Washington Post) BENGHAZI, Libya — Libya’s top leader declared the country officially “liberated” Sunday from the four-decade rule of Moammar Gaddafi, pledging to replace his dictatorship with a more democratic but also a more strictly Islamic system.

In a speech to a cheering, flag-waving crowd, Mustafa Abdel Jalil, head of the Transitional National Council, promised to ban interest on housing loans and scrap other laws that didn’t conform to Islamic jurisprudence.

“Lift your head, you are a proud Libyan,” chanted the crowd in Benghazi, as balloons in the colors of the new flag — red, black and green — floated overhead. Some people waved the flags of France and the United States, both of which were part of an alliance that helped the anti-Gaddafi forces in their struggle.

The new government faces daunting challenges, including persuading scores of militias across the country to lay down their weapons and integrate into a new military and justice system.

In what surprised some in attendance, Abdel Jalil gave prominence to the role of Islamic law in the new Libya. “We are an Islamic state,” he said, and he pledged to get rid of regulations that didn’t conform to Islamic law.

Obama Job Approval Average Slides to New Low

The media can't sugarcoat the facts. Obama is an awful president. The people has spoken and they will take it to the voting booths on November 2012. There is no way for Obama to recover in the next 11 months. The American people are noticing that unemployment is still high, job claims remain high, consumer confidence in the dumps, and the stock market sucks. These are due to Obama's failed policies.

(Gallup) PRINCETON, NJ -- President Barack Obama's 11th quarter in office was the worst of his administration, based on his quarterly average job approval ratings. His 41% approval average is down six percentage points from his 10th quarter in office, and is nearly four points below his previous low of 45% during his seventh quarter.

The most notable event in Obama's 11th quarter was probably the negotiations to raise the federal debt ceiling in late July and early August. Shortly after the agreement was reached, the stock market plummeted after Standard and Poor's downgraded the U.S. credit rating. Later, the government's jobs report showed no new net jobs were created in August, a sign the economy was still a long way from recovery. The president has been unsuccessful so far in getting Congress to pass the jobs bill he proposed in early September.

Obama Foreign Policy is Assassinate and Force Regime Change

If Obama claims he kept his campaign promise, the president needs a dose of a reality check. Obama made a mess with the American economy. Also, he made a mess with his foreign policy. The president's foreign policy is to assassinate people and force a regime change. However, if a Republican was president, the American people would be bombarded with news of an impeachment proceeding. In addition, Obama has destabilized the Middle East by promoting radical Islam as a form of government. In a nutshell, the bottom line is about the economy. We are fooling ourselves to believe that this president has a chance in hell to win in 2012. Let the media prolong the suspense. In 2012, it will be all over for Obama.

(YAHOO) WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama delivered on another foreign policy promise on Friday with plans to pull the last U.S. troops from Iraq. But in a re-election campaign all about the weak U.S. economy, he may not get much credit.

Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, radical Islamic cleric Anwar al-Awlaki and Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi -- these are all dead U.S. opponents that Democrat Obama can claim a measure of credit for getting.

Now add to that Obama's announcement on Friday that the eight-year war in Iraq is ending, fulfilling a campaign goal he made in 2008 when he declared the conflict a misguided mistake by his Republican predecessor, George W. Bush.

In any other year, Obama might be able to ride these accomplishments to re-election in November 2012. But with the economy teetering and Americans hungry for jobs, the national security successes may only inoculate him from Republican criticism of his foreign policy.

Democratic strategist Bob Shrum said Obama has shown a decisiveness and coolness of character that will help him in 2012, when Obama is seeking a second term. And he called it proof that Obama was able to do the job that his chief opponent for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination, Hillary Clinton, said he could not with a famous TV ad.

"We now know the answer to the question of whether he's good at answering the phone when it rings at 3 a.m. to tell him there's a crisis," said Shrum, who was 2004 Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry's campaign manager.

But will voters care?

For clues, look at what happened to Republican President George H.W. Bush two decades ago. He saw his approval ratings rise above 90 percent after U.S. forces won the first Gulf War against Iraq, only to see his popularity tumble due to an anemic economy.

Bush lost the 1992 election to Democrat Bill Clinton, whose campaign mantra was, "It's the economy, stupid."

Democrat Senate Rejects Obama Jobs Bill Second Time

The American people should know that the Democrats hold the Majority in the Senate. The Republicans did not win the majority seat in 2010. Thus, it is idiotic for the president or the Senate Majority leader to blame Republicans for obstructing any bill because Democrats has the numbers to pass it. If the Democrats want to pass a bill, do it and expect as severe backlash from the American people in November 2012.

(CBS) (AP) WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama and his allies in the Senate promise to press ahead with separate votes on pieces of his failed $447 billion jobs measure despite unanimous opposition from Republicans. But there also are signs of slippage among Democrats and evidence the strategy isn't working with voters.

Future votes on individual pieces of the measure, however, aren't likely to fare better than a pared-back jobs measure designed to boost hiring of teachers and first responders that Republicans and a handful of Democrats scuttled on Thursday.

Obama's revised plan failed on a 50-50 test vote that fell well short of the 60 needed to break a filibuster. Three Democrats abandoned Obama on the vote and two more who voted with the president said they couldn't support the underlying Obama plan unless it's changed.

Thursday's $35 billion measure combined $30 billion for state and local governments to hire teachers and other school workers with $5 billion to help pay the salaries of police officers, firefighters and other first responders. The White House says the measure would "support" almost 400,000 education jobs for one year. Republicans call that a temporary "sugar high" for the economy and say it's a taxpayer-funded bailout of state and local governments.

Obama and his Democratic allies are acting like they've found a winning issue in repeatedly pressing popular ideas such as infrastructure spending and boosting hiring of police officers and firefighters. The sluggish economy and lower tax revenues have caused many teachers' jobs to be cut over the past several years.

"For the second time in two weeks, every single Republican in the United States Senate has chosen to obstruct a bill that would create jobs and get our economy going again," Obama said in a statement after the vote. "Every American deserves an explanation as to why Republicans refuse to step up to the plate and do what's necessary to create jobs and grow the economy right now."

"We cannot afford to be bailing out local governments, and we can't afford stimulus 2.0," countered Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.

Steve Jobs Warns Obama as a One Term President

Steve Jobs told Obama the same sentiments the America people are feeling. Jobs told Obama that the president will be a one-term president. Citing as pro-business, Jobs complained that Obama is over-regulating the business sector. Thus, it is creating an unfavorable environment to start a business in America. Besides being a failure, Obama is fully aware he may end up as a one-term president.

(Politico) Steve Jobs told President Barack Obama he was “headed for a one-term presidency,” citing the U.S.’s competitive disadvantages with China and a “crippled” education system, a new biography of the former Apple CEO indicates.

“You’re headed for a one-term presidency,” Jobs told Obama in a meeting last year where he asserted that the White House needed to be more friendly toward business, according to the Huffington Post, which obtained a copy of Walter Isaacson’s forthcoming book, “Steve Jobs.”

Jobs also told Obama that “regulations and unnecessary costs” put the United States at a competitive disadvantage with China, where companies can build factories more cheaply.

The recently deceased Jobs also told Obama that the education system was “crippled by union work rules,” according to Isaacson. Jobs proposed principals be able to hire and fire teachers based on merit, and to extend the length of both the school day and academic year.

Jobs also suggested that Obama meet with several other CEOs who could talk about the needs of innovative firms, but in a characteristic huff, Jobs declared his intention to skip the event when the White House added additional names to the list.

According to the Huffington Post copy of Isaacson’s book, Jobs was reluctant to take a meeting with Obama without a personal invitation from the president. A five-day standoff ensued due to his stubborn insistence on this point, despite his wife’s exhortation that Obama “was really psyched to meet with you.” They eventually met at the Westin hotel at the San Francisco airport.

Pelosi Avoids Obama. Can Jeopardize her 2012 Reelection Bid

It is every man for himself. With Pelosi, she is scared that 2012 will be her last to retain power.

(The Hill) For House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), disagreement with President Obama often takes the form of silence.

While rank-and-file House Democrats have been outspoken in taking the White House to task over issues as diverse as foreclosure prevention, environmental protection and funding the federal government, Pelosi has stayed quiet or shifted her talking points to attacks on the GOP.

The intention is to stay united with the president, and not let Republicans or other groups take advantage of any divide between the White House and congressional Democrats.

Pelosi’s tactics can be seen clearly in the decision by a broad coalition of California Democrats to urge Obama in writing last week to take bolder steps to prevent home foreclosures, which are endemic in much of the state.

Pelosi broke with Obama last week by voting against a free-trade agreement with Colombia, citing a history of violence against workers in the South American country. Still, the minority leader didn’t criticize the president for backing the deal. Instead, she went after GOP leaders for killing the administration’s efforts to install more worker protections.

Both episodes highlights the delicate political nature of the relationship between Obama — who’s facing a tough reelection next year — and Pelosi, who even when disagreeing with the president wants nothing more than to keep him in the White House an additional four years.

The San Francisco liberal is hardly immune to the frustrations her troops have had with Obama, and she’s felt caucus pressures to take a stand when those frictions emerge. Occasionally, as with the Colombia trade deal, she’s voted against the president.

But more often than not, Pelosi has kept her criticism to herself, or softened it in public.

A source familiar with Pelosi’s thinking said the minority leader is constantly in touch with the White House, but she’s doing it privately — out of the glare of the media.

Cost Tax Payers $2 Billion to Kill Qaddafi and That is Cheap

Joe Biden said the total cost of the Libyan War was $2 Billion on tax payers money. The Obama Administration would call it more cost effective and on the cheap. The American people would call it a waste of money. There isn't a reason why we went after Qaddafi. There wasn't a reason why we went after Egyptian President Mubarak. Instead of nation building that Bush was criticized, Obama is doing regime change with radical Islamic friends. This is Obama's foreign policy. The president wants to destabilize the Middle East for a nuclear war. Did anyone check if Obama has 666 imprinted on his head?

(National Journal) Call him the billion-dollar man. One billion for one dictator.

According to the Pentagon, that was the cost to U.S. taxpayers for Muammar el-Qaddafi’s head: $1.1 billion through September, the latest figure just out of the Defense Department.

And that’s just for the Americans.

The final totals will take some time to add up, and still do not include the State Department, CIA, and other agencies involved or other NATO and participating countries. Vice President Joe Biden said that the U.S. "spent $2 billion total and didn’t lose a single life." NATO does not track the operational costs to each member country, but the funds directly taken from a common NATO account for Libya operations have totaled about $7.4 million per month for electronic warfare capabilities and $1.1 million per month for headquarters and command staff, a NATO spokesman said.

From the beginning of Operation Unified Protector in March, critics have questioned whether the U.S. could afford to open a third front. The Congressional Research Services estimate the Afghanistan war has cost nearly $500 billion so far. With Iraq, the figure easily tops $1 trillion.

In the first week of Libya operations, bombs were dropped from B-2 stealth planes flown from Missouri and roughly 200 missiles launched from submarines in the Mediterranean, causing alarm that any extended campaign would quickly cost billions more.

But after the U.S. military ramped up the operation, other NATO countries shouldered most of the air burden. Americans took a supporting role: aerial refueling tankers, electronic jamming, and surveillance.

Mubarak and Qaddafi Gone, Obama Welcomes Muslim Brotherhood

Does this mean Obama is the new war time president? With Osama bin Laden, American born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki and Qaddafi gone, did this make Obama a hero? Did Obama realize the consequences of getting rid of Egyptian President Mubarak and Col. Muammar Qaddafi? I guess not. Obama is still looking at his crystal ball for answers. Not only did Obama brought uncivil strife in the Middle East, it will destabilize the region and introduce many radical Islamic states in the region. Congratulation Mr. Obama for destroying the US Economy and screwed up Foreign policy. It may be far fetch, but I really believe Obama is the devil in disguised.

(NY Times) MISURATA, Libya — Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi’s last moments Thursday were as violent as the uprising that overthrew him.

In a cellphone video that went viral on the Internet, the deposed Libyan leader is seen splayed on the hood of a truck and then stumbling amid a frenzied crowd, seemingly begging for mercy. He is next seen on the ground, with fighters grabbing his hair. Blood pours down his head, drenching his golden brown khakis, as the crowd shouts, “God is great!”

Colonel Qaddafi’s body was shown in later photographs, with bullet holes apparently fired into his head at what forensic experts said was close range, raising the possibility that he was executed at the hands of anti-Qaddafi fighters.

The official version of events offered by Libya’s new leaders — that Colonel Qaddafi was killed in a cross-fire — was not supported by the photographs and videos that streamed over the Internet all day long, raising questions about the government’s control of the militias in a country that has been divided into competing regions and factions.

The conflicting accounts about how he was killed seemed to reflect an instability that could consume Libya long after the euphoria fades about the demise of Colonel Qaddafi, who ruled Libya for nearly 42 years and is the first of the autocrats to be killed in the Arab Spring uprisings.

Obama is the Very First President to Accomplish This

In the first 1000 days in office, Obama has done a lot that eclipses all other presidents. I'm amaze that future president won't be able to duplicate Obama's accomplishment.

Obama is the.....

Under Obama, Americans Standard of Living Lowest in 50 Years

As the media and Liberals cast the narrative that under Bush life sucked, Americans must reassess their situation under Obama. If Americans can say they are better off three years ago, it is only logical to make Obama as a one term president.

(CNBC) Think life is not as good as it used to be, at least in terms of your wallet? You'd be right about that. The standard of living for Americans has fallen longer and more steeply over the past three years than at any time since the US government began recording it five decades ago.

Bottom line: The average individual now has $1,315 less in disposable income than he or she did three years ago at the onset of the Great Recession – even though the recession ended, technically speaking, in mid-2009. That means less money to spend at the spa or the movies, less for vacations, new carpeting for the house, or dinner at a restaurant.

In short, it means a less vibrant economy, with more Americans spending primarily on necessities. The diminished standard of living, moreover, is squeezing the middle class, whose restlessness and discontent are evident in grass-roots movements such as the tea party and "Occupy Wall Street" and who may take out their frustrations on incumbent politicians in next year's election.

What has led to the most dramatic drop in the US standard of living since at least 1960? One factor is stagnant incomes: Real median income is down 9.8 percent since the start of the recession through this June, according to Sentier Research in Annapolis, Md., citing census bureau data. Another is falling net worth – think about the value of your home and, if you have one, your retirement portfolio. A third is rising consumer prices, with inflation eroding people's buying power by 3.25 percent since mid-2008.

Obama Supports Occupy Wall Street Protester

If Obama sides with the Occupy Wall Street protesters, he is also the enemy. It is disengenuous to compare the Tea Party with the Occupy Wall Street protesters. There is a big difference. Obama is a hypocrite and a traitor.

(Weekly Standard) In an interview that will be aired tonight on ABC News, President Obama continues to express his commitment to the Occupy Wall Street protesters.

“The most important thing we can do right now is those of us in leadership letting people know that we understand their struggles and we are on their side, and that we want to set up a system in which hard work, responsibility, doing what you’re supposed to do, is rewarded,” Obama tells ABC News. “And that people who are irresponsible, who are reckless, who don’t feel a sense of obligation to their communities and their companies and their workers that those folks aren’t rewarded.”

The president also compares the protesters to the Tea Party. “In some ways, they’re not that different from some of the protests that we saw coming from the Tea Party," Obama says. "Both on the left and the right, I think people feel separated from their government. They feel that their institutions aren’t looking out for them.”

But it wasn't too long ago that President Obama openly mocked the Tea Party movement:

"Those of you who are watching certain news channels on which I'm not very popular, and you see folks waving tea bags around,["] Obama said, “let me just remind them that I am happy to have a serious conversation about how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we are going to stabilize Social Security.”

Obama, Please Return my Teleprompter and President Seal

This is a national security issue that needs to be dealt swiftly! LOL

(NBC12) HENRICO, VA (WWBT) – NBC12 has uncovered one of those stories that makes you think: "How in the world does that happen?!" A truck filled with President Obama's podiums and audio equipment was stolen in Henrico just days before his visit to Chesterfield.

We confirmed an investigation with the U.S. Defense Department. There are still a lot of questions. The biggest one being did the thieves intentionally target the President's truck or did they take advantage of a crime of opportunity and give a big "uh-oh" when they saw what was inside.

When you see President Obama speak, there is a pretty typical setup including the presidential seal on a podium, the see-thru Teleprompter and a portable sound system.

Thieves saw the truck carrying that equipment and couldn't resist the target.

We're told the truck was parked at the Virginia Center Commons Courtyard Marriott in advance on Wednesday's presidential visit to Chesterfield.

Obama First 1000 Days is a Failure

If Obama is going to tout his accomplishments in killing bin Laden, the president is going to have a very rude awakening. With 300 days left till the 2012 election, Obama has a very unrealistic chance in turning the economy around. The media won't be able to save him.

(Fox News) WASHINGTON -- President Obama hit his 1,000-day mark Monday, and with new data showing hikes in poverty, foreclosures, joblessness and debt, the president has a little over a year to convince Americans that he is turning the country in the right direction.

According to data from the Office of Management and Budget and Congressional Budget Office, the United States has added more than $4 trillion in public debt since Obama took office, and the federal government has spent $6.6 million a minute during that time.

But the economy is still behind the eight ball: the jobless rate averaged 9.4 percent between Jan. 20, 2009, and Sept. 30, 2011, and nearly 3 million more Americans are in poverty compared with when Obama took office.

"He's got about 300 days to convince the American people that he deserves another term," said Andy Card, former White House chief of staff for President George W. Bush. "By his own standard, he said if he didn't have these things accomplished in three years, he wasn't going to get re-elected."

As of Oct. 17, here is a snapshot of what's different, compared with Jan. 20, 2009:

-- The U.S. debt increased by an average of $4.2 billion per day. The total rise in that time breaks down to more than $13,000 in additional debt for every single American.

-- The government has spent more than $9.6 trillion, about 60 percent more than what Washington took in.

-- The country racked up as much debt in the last 1,000 days as it did in the first 79,135 days. (That's from 1776 to 1993.)

-- In the last 1,000 days, America spent $1.2 trillion in interest on the debt. By itself, that would represent the world's 15th largest economy.

-- On the economic front, 2.22 million jobs have been lost.

-- More than 2.4 million homes were repossessed for failure to pay mortgages.

-- The unemployed are staying out of work longer -- on average about 40.5 weeks, more than double the typical bout of joblessness in January 2009.

-- The jobless rate has been at or above 9 percent for 840 of the last 1,000 days.

-- Thirty-seven states have higher unemployment rates.

-- Washington has spent almost $380 billion on federal unemployment benefits.

-- Since January 2009, 7,076 new final regulatory rules were issued.

-- About 12 million more Americans are on food stamps.

-- Gas prices are up by more than 80 percent. The price-per-gallon has exceeded $3 every day in 2011

Hugo Chavez Has Less Than 2 Years to Live

That is one thorn the United States doesn't need to worry about.

(FoxNews) HAVANA – Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez likely has less than two years to live, his former doctor said, as the ailing firebrand traveled to Cuba for a checkup following cancer treatment.

Chavez, 57, has been through four rounds of chemotherapy in Cuba since revealing he had a cancerous tumor removed in June. But Venezuela has provided few details about the exact nature of the cancer, aside from that it was in the pelvic area.

The doctor described the prognosis as "not good." He added, "When I say this, I mean that he has no more than two years to live."

Con Ed Demand Ground Zero Mosque Back Rent or Eviction

Since the Ground Zero Mosque isn't welcome in the area, there are more ways to skin a cat. Raising the rent and demanding back rent, Con Ed was able to deter Park 51 from building that 15-story community center. I wonder if Park 51 will cry racism.

(NY Post) — Con Ed has given the Ground Zero mosque an ultimatum: Pay the $1.7 million you owe in back rent, or we’ll terminate your lease and take back our property.

Con Ed and mosque developer Park51 have an unusual, uneasy alliance, sharing ownership of a site slated to be one of the most controversial projects in city history.

The utility owns a former substation on the western half of the property, at 51 Park Place, and the mosque developers own a five-story building on the eastern half. The buildings were connected years ago and used to house a Burlington Coat Factory store.

Park51, which leases the substation from Con Ed, wants the two buildings so it can knock both down and build a $100 million, 15-story community center.

But the plan hit a major obstacle in August when Con Ed raised the rent from $2,750 a month, a rate set in 1972, to $47,437 a month, retroactive to July 31, 2008, The Post has learned.

When the mosque failed to fork over the $1.7 million, the utility fired off a letter demanding the money by Oct. 4 and threatening to evict.

Park51 principals responded with a lawsuit to stop the increase, calling Con Ed’s rent demands “outrageous.”

Why Does Obama Wants WH Visitors Log Kept a Secret

Obama lied to have a transparent administration. Since the president wants to keep the log book of visitors to the White House a secret, many Americans are wondering what is the president hiding?

(Politico) The Obama administration is appealing a judge's ruling that Secret Service records of visitors to the White House complex are subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.

The Justice Department filed a formal notice of appeal Friday afternoon regarding U.S. District Court Judge Beryl Howell's August ruling rejecting arguments that the so-called WAVES records belong to the White House even though they are maintained and used by the Secret Service.

The decision to appeal the ruling to the D.C. Circuit would appear to be in tension with Obama's repeated pledges to operate the most transparent administration in history. The White House announced in Sept. 2009 that it was voluntarily releasing the names of most White House visitors from Sept. 15 forward. However, the conservative group Judicial Watch sought information on visits before that date.

The position taken by the Obama Justice Department, namely that White House visitor records are presidential records and not agency records, is essentially the same one that the department took under President George W. Bush.

Howell did not rule that every White House visit had to be disclosed. However, she concluded that all the data had to be made public unless the government asserted a specific exemption from FOIA, such as provisions protecting national security and privacy.

There was no immediate comment on the appeal from the White House or the Justice Department.

Nazi and Communist Party Support the Wall Street Protest

This is who supports the idiots that represent the "Occupy Wall Street" protesters. While the Tea Party Movement is represented by many conservative groups, the liberals that make up the "Occupy Wall Street" protesters are represented by left wing radicals. If you notice, the media is not focusing on the size of the protesters because they are so small in comparison. In fact, the protesters marching to the billionaires homes were so small that the media compose as the majority in attendance. The Wall Street protest is a waste of time because it is disorganized, and it has no purpose. Unfortunately, it distracts the real problem and that problem is Obama.

(Gateway Pundit) The American Nazi Party likes what it sees.

Today the American Nazi Party released a statement in support of Occupy Wall Street movement.

The foremost authority on National Socialism in America has this to say about “Occupy” [ANP leader Rocky Suhayda -ed.] :

What is really MISSING – is the “MOVEMENT” from these popular protests – its time to pull WN heads out of their collective ass’s, and JOIN IN the attack on Judeo-Capitalism. What do you suggest? That WN Working Class White people DEFEND the Judeo-Capitalists? IF the “movement” wasn’t so PATHETIC it would be OUT THERE – LEADING these protests! The fact that its these “lefties” as you call them, who are picking up the ball and running with it – only shows how much more in tune THEY are with the fed up masses of White Workers, than the fossilized, reactionary “right-wing”. WHO holds the WEALTH and POWER in this country – the JUDEO-CAPITALISTS. WHO is therefore the #1 ENEMY who makes all this filth happen – the JUDEO-CAPITALISTS. WHO therefore do WN need to FIGHT? My heart is right there with these people, perhaps someday the “movement” will SHOW the same COURAGE and DEDICATION that these people OUT THERE FIGHTING are SHOWING!

Sincerely, ROCKY SUHAYDA Hail Victory! 88!

From the CPUSA website:

This is an exciting time! Thousands of mainly young people have been occupying Wall Street for three weeks already, and the “Occupy Movement” has spread to more than 200 other cities. On Oct. 6 the actions spread to our nation’s capital.

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA) will hold a national teleconference to discuss it:

Arturo Cambron
The Communist Party and the Occupy L.A. Movement
Tuesday, October 11, 8 pm Eastern
Teleconference number: 605-475-4850 (please note this is the corrected number. ignore previous.)
Access code: 1053538#

Southern California Party leader Arturo Cambron will share how the CPUSA and Young Communist League (YCL) are working in “Occupy Los Angeles.”

This movement, also known as the “99% movement,” is being hailed across the country. Movements and organizations are reaching out in solidarity. The AFL-CIO is opening union halls and offering other material assistance. Ordinary people are donating food, money and materials.

In many areas, the “Occupy Movement” is linking up with the National American Wants to Work Week of Actions, Oct. 10-16.

No doubt the “Arab Spring” demonstrations and those that exploded in Wisconsin, Ohio and elsewhere have inspired it. But underlying it all is the economic crisis, the massive unemployment and growing realization that nothing is getting better, and in fact we may be slipping into a “double dip” crisis. The crushing student debt and the feeling of being locked out of society with no future compound this.

The movement is the newest wrinkle in the all-people’s upsurge against the banks and corporations and reflects a new level of class-consciousness.

UPDATE: Thousands of Occupy Chicago protesters cheered the communist leaders last night in Chicago.

In 3 years Obama has Accomplished Nothing

In 3 years, this is what Obama has accomplished. It is quite impressive how he duped everybody with his "Hope and Change" crap.

What Democrats Say Behind Obamas Back is Astonishing

As Obama bites off the hand that feeds his success, there will be an eventual backlash. Even though big business and Wall Street contributed to the Obama campaign since 2008, the president continues to vilify them as the boogie man. Now, it has come to the point that big business is letting their feelings be known to Obama. It is no secret that fundraising efforts has been lackluster for the president. Since the American people has lost confidence in the president, Obama is alienating the only friends he has left.

(WSJ) 'It's as if he doesn't like people," says real-estate mogul and New York Daily News owner Mortimer Zuckerman of the president of the United States. Barack Obama doesn't seem to care for individuals, elaborates Mr. Zuckerman, though the president enjoys addressing millions of them on television.

The Boston Properties CEO is trying to understand why Mr. Obama has made little effort to build relationships on Capitol Hill or negotiate a bipartisan economic plan. A longtime supporter of the Democratic Party, Mr. Zuckerman wrote in these pages two months ago that the entire business community was "pleading for some kind of adult supervision" in Washington and "desperate for strong leadership." Writing soon after the historic downgrade of U.S. Treasury debt by Standard & Poor's, he wrote, "I long for a triple-A president to run a triple-A country."

His words struck a chord. When I visit Mr. Zuckerman this week in his midtown Manhattan office, he reports that three people approached him at dinner the previous evening to discuss his August op-ed. Among business executives who supported Barack Obama in 2008, he says, "there is enormously widespread anxiety over the political leadership of the country." Mr. Zuckerman reports that among Democrats, "The sense is that the policies of this government have failed. . . . What they say about [Mr. Obama] when he's not in the room, so to speak, is astonishing."

We are sitting on the 18th floor of a skyscraper the day after protesters have marched on the homes of other Manhattan billionaires. It may seem odd that most of the targeted rich people had nothing to do with creating the financial crisis. But as Mr. Zuckerman ponders the Occupy Wall Street movement, he concludes that "the door to it was opened by the Obama administration, going after the 'millionaires and billionaires' as if everybody is a millionaire and a billionaire and they didn't earn it. . . . To fan that flame of populist anger I think is very divisive and very dangerous for this country."

Mr. Zuckerman says that when you also consider the labor-force participation rate and the so-called "birth-death series" that measures business starts and failures, the real U.S. unemployment rate is now 20%. His voice rising with equal parts anger and sadness, he exclaims, "That's not America!"

At that time he supported Mr. Obama's call for heavy spending on infrastructure. "But if you look at the make-up of the stimulus program," says Mr. Zuckerman, "roughly half of it went to state and local municipalities, which is in effect to the municipal unions which are at the core of the Democratic Party." He adds that "the Republicans understood this" and it diminished the chances for bipartisan legislating.

The only solution Mr. Zuckerman sees now to juice the economy "is to broaden the tax base and simplify and lower tax [rates]. To me that will be as close to revenue-neutral as you're going to have so it isn't going to be seen as a budget buster." He views GOP candidate Herman Cain's "9-9-9 plan" as a "little bit simple-minded," but he says that a reform that closes loopholes and reduces compliance costs will stimulate both business and consumer spending.

"Democracy does not work without the right leadership," he says later, "and you can't play politics." The smile inspired by Reagan memories is gone now and Mr. Zuckerman is pounding his circular conference table. "The country has got to come to the conclusion at some point that what you're doing is not just because of an ideology or politics but for the interests of the country."

Obama Enjoys to Whine and Bitch Like a Spoiled Brat

Obama is a coward and a whining little baby. Unable to accept responsibilities, our president would throw anyone under the bus and point fingers. It is a real embarrassment. It is a setback for future senators trying to run for the oval office. However, it does prove that to be president experience does matter.

(HumanEvents) Barack Obama is increasingly becoming the nation’s scolder-in-chief—lashing out at friends and foes alike—and placing blame for things gone wrong on everybody but himself and his policies. Here are the Top 10 Obama Scolds:

1. America going soft: President Obama placed the blame for the nation’s woes squarely on the American people when he said this last month: “This is a great, great country that had gotten a little soft, and we didn’t have that same competitive edge that we needed over the last couple of decades.” With an election year looming, was insulting the voters a major mishap?

2. Take slippers off: The President even scolded his most loyal supporters, telling a gathering of the Congressional Black Caucus, “I expect all of you to march with me and press on. Take off your bedroom slippers, put on your marching shoes. Shake it off. Stop complaining, stop grumbling, stop crying.” That was too much even for Rep. Maxine Waters (D.-Calif.), of South Central Los Angeles, who said Obama “just got a little bit off the teleprompter.”

3. Bitter clingers: Obama’s most famous put-down of his fellow Americans came during the 2008 presidential election, when he said at a San Francisco fund-raiser: “It’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

4. Eat your peas: During the summer’s debt-ceiling debate, Obama sternly reproached congressional Republicans while rejecting a short-term increase in the borrowing limit. At a press conference, the President lectured: “That is not an acceptable approach. So we might as well do it now. Pull off the Band-Aid. Eat our peas.”

5. Do-nothing Congress: Obama is taking the Truman route, blaming a “do-nothing” Congress for holding up his jobs bill. In doing so, the President seems to have forgotten that the Senate is still run by Democrats, some of whom aren’t enamored of Stimulus II. Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid is said to be none too pleased with the President’s strategy and, according to The Hill, their relationship is “terse.”

6. Cairo apology: Soon after taking office, Obama felt it necessary to undertake an overseas “apology tour,” painting America’s past actions in a bad light. In Cairo, he criticized Bush’s war on terror, while continuing most of his anti-terror policies. Sept. 11, 2001, he said, "was an enormous trauma to our country. The fear and anger that it provoked was understandable, but in some cases, it led us to act contrary to our ideals." What does the antiwar crowd think about drones killing U.S. citizens?

7. Pay a little more: The community organizer-in-chief loves the class-warfare game, and never did he play it more audaciously than during the debt-ceiling debate. Mocking tax breaks for “millionaires and billionaires, oil companies and corporate jet owners,” the President lectured: “If you are a wealthy CEO or hedge fund manager in America right now, your taxes are lower than they have ever been. … You can still ride on your corporate jet. You’re just going to have to pay a little more.”

8. Republicans small: Obama scolded the entire Republican presidential field, charging them with being silent when a gay soldier was booed during a debate, never mind it was clear the boos were aimed at a specific policy. “We don’t believe in the kind of smallness that says it’s okay for a stage full of political leaders—one of whom could end up being the President of the United States—being silent when an American soldier is booed,” he told a Human Rights Campaign dinner crowd, where his gay and lesbian supporters cheered robustly.

9. Tea Party darkness: Obama fuels the left-wing smear campaign against the Tea Party movement when he makes statements like these, in an interview with Rolling Stone: “There are probably some aspects of the Tea Party that are a little darker, that have to do with anti-immigrant sentiment or are troubled by what I represent as the President.”

10. Attack watch: Now Obama wants to turn his supporters into an army of scolds, with his campaign asking them to snitch to the Attack Watch website whenever they hear a smear against the President. Luckily, the mocking of the site has gone viral, as submissions such as, “There's a new Twitter account making President Obama look like a creepy, authoritarian nut-job,” becoming the norm.

Durbin Amendment Will Make You Give Up Your Debit Card

While the Occupiers of Wall Street are blaming big business and banks for corporate greed, it is important not to shoot the messenger, but rather, go to the source of the problem. One of the complaints from the protesters is the high fees imposed by the banks. Recently, banks are charging customer a fee to use his/her debit-card. Everybody must understand that the fee was due to the Durbin Amendment that took effect in Oct. 1, 2011. As part of the Durbin Amendment that put into law in July 2010, the Federal Reserve gained regulatory power over the interchange fees banks can charge business owners every time a debit card is used in their stores. It means retail business owners aren't charge a crazy fee if a debt-card being used. In order for the banks to recoup the loss, they are charging individuals for using their debt-card. This is a perfect example how government intervention will ultimate affect the American people.

(Fox Business) It's a proposal from Illinois Senator Dick Durbin that was part of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010. The provisions of the Durbin Amendment become law on Oct. 1, 2011. The new law will reduce, by nearly 50%, the average amount that retailers pay for debit card transactions (often called interchange fees or swipe fees).

Retail businesses have been paying banks an average of 44 cents every time a debit card transaction goes through. Effective Oct. 1, the Federal Reserve will limit the transaction fee to no more than 21 cents, plus 0.05% of the transaction (2 cents average), plus 1 cent for issuers that have fraud-prevention standards in place. This hasn't affected credit cards; banks have been getting, and will continue to get, almost 2% of each transaction price.

Why anyone besides Senator Durbin should care

Well, since the new law cuts debit card fees in half, banks are going to be earning considerably less from debit card transactions. To make up the shortfall, they appear to be following two main strategies:

1) Lob fees onto the consumer to make up for the shrinking of debit card revenue

2) Offer more rewards and perks on credit cards to make them more attractive and to increase credit card revenue

Banks are now likely to find credit cards much more profitable under the new law, due to that aforementioned 2% of the purchase price per transaction. For purchases over $10.50, on average, the credit card issuer will make more in fees if you use a credit card instead of a debit card.

Whether the new law is a good thing depends on where you stand, and your point of view of the financial world. A few weeks ago, Sen. Durbin spoke to a group of reporters in Nashville and explained his reasoning: "The retailer will be more profitable. That's what's behind this." Durbin said that the amendment was designed to protect retailers such as gas stations, for instance, who often lose a lot of their profit to debit cards.

Durbin added that retailers were likely to pass on their profits to their customers, at least those retailers who are competitively trying to entice you into their stores.

So the law, whether it works out this way or not, was designed to protect not only consumers, since arguably lower interchange fees should result in lower prices for products and services, but also business owners, especially mom-and-pop operations who depend on numerous small transactions to survive.

The consensus among bankers, however, has been that retailers aren't likely to pass on the savings to consumers because, well, business folk are only human, and they'll want to keep the profit. That would mean that consumers will get nothing out of the Durbin Amendment.

Meanwhile, according to Bloomberg, a Janney Montgomery Scott analyst predicted that Visa and MasterCard will increase fees on what the retailers pay the credit card issuers for "small-ticket purchases." For example, on a $2 purchase, the fee would increase from 8 cents to 23 cents--over 10% of the purchase. (If you're suddenly confused, recall that merchants not only pay a fee to your bank every time you swipe your debit card, but also to the payment network used to transfer the payment, generally either Visa or MasterCard.)

If that happens, merchants may react by refusing to accept Visa-branded debit cards for smaller purchases. You might then decide to use your credit card for those minor purchases, like a bag of chips or a daily DVD rental…potentially adding to your revolving debt burden.

Obama Plans to Use Anti-Wall St Anger to Campaign Cash

Never allow a good crisis go to waste. It is the mantra and belief of Obama's idiotic philosophy. The Obama team wants to make Wall Street look as the bad guy and the government look as the good guy. It is ignorance and class envy that brought the mass of idiots to Wall Street. People forget that Wall Street comprises of companies that provide jobs in America. These companies are under strict regulation, and it is force upon by the government. For example, the debt-card fees impose by banks are regulations imposed by the government, aka the Durbin Amendment. The Durbin Amendment is a bill sponsored by Democrat Senator Dick Durbin. While many ignorant individuals jump the throat of the banks and greedy corporations, it is important not to shoot the messenger, but rather, go to the source.

(Washington Post) President Obama and his team have decided to turn public anger at Wall Street into a central tenet of their reelection strategy.

The move comes as the Occupy Wall Street protests gain momentum across the country and as polls show deep public distrust of the nation’s major financial institutions.

And it sets up what strategists see as a potent line of attack against Republican front-runner Mitt Romney, a former investment executive whom Obama aides plan to portray as a wealthy Wall Street sympathizer.

Many Democrats consider Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, the greatest threat to Obama when it comes to wooing centrist independents next year, and Romney this week has begun to present himself as a champion of middle-income Americans.

Obama aides point to recent surveys that show anger at Wall Street spanning ideologies, including a new Washington Post-ABC News poll in which 68 percent of independents and 60 percent of Republicans say they have unfavorable impressions of the big financial institutions.

But the strategy of channeling anti-Wall Street anger carries risks. Many of Obama’s senior advisers have ties to the financial industry — a point that makes Occupy protesters wary of the president and his party.

In recent days, Obama has ramped up his rhetoric. He took the unusual step of targeting an individual company when he attacked Bank of America for its new $5 monthly debit-card fee, calling it “exactly the sort of stuff that folks are frustrated by.” And his campaign and the White House have distributed messages blasting GOP candidates and lawmakers for wanting to repeal Wall Street regulations pushed by Obama and opposing the confirmation of a leader for the consumer protection bureau created as part of the overhaul.

“We intend to make it one of the central elements of the campaign next year,” Obama senior adviser David Plouffe said in an interview. “One of the main elements of the contrast will be that the president passed Wall Street reform and our opponent and the other party want to repeal it.”

“I’m pretty confident 12 months from now, as people make the decision about who to go vote for, the gut check is going to be about, ‘Who would make decisions more about helping my life than Wall Street?’ ” Plouffe added.

From Libya to Uganda, Obama is a War Time President

From Libya to the Uganda, Obama is starting wars without thoughtful consideration. Like, who is going to pay for it? Playing devils advocate, Obama and his Liberal collegues lambasted Bush for his wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now under Obama's rule, I do not see a big difference with the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Uganda.

Obama says the LRA has murdered, raped, and kidnapped tens of thousands of men, women, and children in central Africa, and continues to commit atrocities across Africa. At first, I thought Obama was talking about the the US Federal government.

I don't understand why we are sending a small squad to fight the enemy. The size to combat the enemy seems very small and ineffective. Obama should use more troops and squash the enemy, but instead, the president is trying not to portray that we are starting another war.

(ABC News’ Jake Tapper and Luis Martinez report)

Two days ago President Obama authorized the deployment to Uganda of approximately 100 combat-equipped U.S. forces to help regional forces “remove from the battlefield” – meaning capture or kill – Lord’s Resistance Army leader Joseph Kony and senior leaders of the LRA.

The forces will deploy beginning with a small group and grow over the next month to 100. They will ultimately go to Uganda, South Sudan, the Central African Republic, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with the permission of those countries.

The president made this announcement in a letter to House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, Friday afternoon, saying that “deploying these U.S. Armed Forces furthers U.S. national security interests and foreign policy and will be a significant contribution toward counter-LRA efforts in central Africa.”

He said that “although the U.S. forces are combat-equipped, they will only be providing information, advice, and assistance to partner nation forces, and they will not themselves engage LRA forces unless necessary for self-defense.”

The president said that for more than two decades the LRA has been responsible for having “murdered, raped, and kidnapped tens of thousands of men, women, and children in central Africa” and continues to “commit atrocities across the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and South Sudan that have a disproportionate impact on regional security.”

A senior Defense official says the 100 military personnel will be mostly Special Operations Forces and that they “will be traveling out to field locations in the areas affected by the LRA where they can interact with and advise those forces that are actively pursuing the LRA.” The official stressed, “they will not be engaging in direct combat against the LRA.”

The US has been helping the four African nations counter the LRA for several years by providing local militaries with training and equipment. In the Democratic Republic of the Congo the US helped train a light infantry battalion deployed to fight the LAR and over the last three years in Uganda the US has provided $33 million to help Uganda’s military.

As for how long the US troops will be in the region, a spokesman at US Africa Command says he could not provide specifics, “but our forces are prepared to stay as long as necessary to enable regional security forces to carry on independently.

The president in his letter noted that Congress passed “the Lord’s Resistance Army Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act,” signed into law on May 24, 2010, in which, the president said, “the Congress also expressed support for increased, comprehensive U.S. efforts to help mitigate and eliminate the threat posed by the LRA to civilians and regional stability.”

When the president signed that letter in May 2010, he said the bill “crystallizes the commitment of the United States to help bring an end to the brutality and destruction that have been a hallmark of the LRA across several countries for two decades, and to pursue a future of greater security and hope for the people of central Africa. The Lord’s Resistance Army preys on civilians – killing, raping, and mutilating the people of central Africa; stealing and brutalizing their children; and displacing hundreds of thousands of people. Its leadership, indicted by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity, has no agenda and no purpose other than its own survival. It fills its ranks of fighters with the young boys and girls it abducts. By any measure, its actions are an affront to human dignity.”

The act passed both houses of Congress with overwhelming support on May 10, 2010 with language that included “providing political, economic, military, and intelligence support for viable multilateral efforts to protect civilians from the Lord’s Resistance Army.”

Obama Offer Apology to Japan for Dropping the Atomic Bomb

It takes a fool with inexperience to apologies to a country without understanding history. A Wikileak document detailed Obama obsessive need to apologies to the Japanese people for using the Atomic Bomb on them. In doing so, Obama would be opening Pandora's box. The repercussion would be great. It was wise for the Japanese Foreign Minister to have great foresight not to allow Obama to open his mouth.

(IBD) Leadership: Leaked cables show Japan nixed a presidential apology to Hiroshima and Nagasaki for using nukes to end the overseas contingency operation known as World War II. Will the next president apologize for the current one?

The obsessive need of this president to apologize for American exceptionalism and our defense of freedom continued recently when Barack Obama's State Department (run by Hillary Clinton) contacted the family of al-Qaida propagandist and recruiter Samir Khan to "express its condolences" to his family.

Another stop on the tour was in Japan, where Obama in November 2009 bowed to the emperor, something no American president had ever done. It could have been worse if plans to visit Nagasaki and Hiroshima to apologize for winning the war with the atom bombs had come to pass.

A heretofore secret cable dated Sept. 3, 2009, was recently released by WikiLeaks. Sent to Secretary of State Clinton, it reported Japan's Vice Foreign Minister Mitoji Yabunaka telling U.S. Ambassador John Roos that "the idea of President Obama visiting Hiroshima to apologize for the atomic bombing during World War II is a 'nonstarter.'"

The Japanese feared the apology would be exploited by anti-nuclear groups and those opposed to the defensive alliance between Japan and the U.S.

Whatever Tokyo's motive, Obama's motive was to once again apologize for defending freedom, this time for winning with devastating finality the war Japan started.
