President Trump’s speech at the United Nations in New York may have seemed routine to the media and to those who’ve grown numb to his long-standing battles with the deep state and its shadowy players. But beneath the surface, several things went wrong that day—subtle to some, but deeply unsettling when viewed together.
I’m not one to chalk up coincidence as mere chance, especially when three unusual incidents occurred within minutes of each other. Either God was sending a sign, or someone else was crafting a narrative—good or bad.
First, as President Trump and First Lady Melania ascended the escalator at the United Nations, it suddenly stopped. Moments later, inside the auditorium, the teleprompter failed for 15 minutes, forcing the President to rely on his notes and, as he often does, speak off the cuff. Then, the speaker system malfunctioned. While delegates could still hear through their earpieces, the general audience was left in silence. Melania herself reportedly told Trump she couldn’t hear a word of his speech.
To some, this might seem like a “nothing burger.” But taken together, it raises serious concerns. These weren’t just technical glitches—they were potential hazards. The escalator could’ve caused a dangerous fall. A teleprompter malfunction, if manipulated, could’ve led to a diplomatic disaster. And the speaker failure begs the question: who has access to override such systems?
We’ve already witnessed two near-miss assassination attempts on U.S. presidents. I’ll say it plainly: what happened at the U.N. wasn’t a prank. It felt like a dry run—a test probing the vulnerabilities in the security infrastructure of one of the world’s most important diplomatic venues. In the worst-case scenario, President Trump was fortunate that day. Nothing catastrophic happened—but it easily could have.
