Government Cover Up, Body Scanners Does Cause Cancer

It is a government conspiracy that the American people knew from the very beginning. Body scanners used at airports emit high doses of radiation that can cancer. Union officials acknowledge that TSA screeners are exposed to high levels of radiation. By standing next to the body scanner, a daily dose of radiation will effect normal cells, which will eventually lead to cancer. Dead cells will form free radicals and destroy other normal cells. This is how cancer is formed. The manufacturer of these body scanners will not disclose the true nature of these machines. The test conducted on the body scanner is done in a controlled environment, and no long-term test on humans were documented. So, if the choice is to go into a body scanner or endure a humiliating pat-down, I would take the train.

(Daily Mail) Claims that the government is covering up 'clusters' of cancer among Transport Security Administration workers have sparked fears the agency's airport scanning machines could pose a risk to travellers.

The Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) has gone on the attack against the TSA and the Department of Homeland Security after securing a selection of government emails in a Freedom of Information request.

Executive director Marc Rotenberg told media that documents show that the government 'has not been forthcoming with the public about the true extent of radiation risk with the airport body scanners.'

He claimed union representatives at Boston's Logan airport have already discovered a 'cluster' of cancer cases among TSA workers there.

However scientists at the University of California have already written to President Barack Obama's science advisor to claim: 'There is still no rigorous, hard, data for the safety of X-ray airport passenger scams'.

They claim the agency is relying on tests performed by the machines' manufacturers

EPIC also claimed that union representatives in Boston have cited a 'cancer cluster' among TSA workers there.

TSA Cant Determine What Is Inside the Wet Firm Diaper

The premise is that TSA agents stated that the elderly woman could not board the plane unless they were able to inspect the diaper. There is no gray area in the statement. TSA felt something suspicious on (elderly woman's) leg and they couldn't determine what it was. While touching the diaper TSA said it was wet and it was firm, and they couldn't check it thoroughly. To the average reasonable person, it was obvious that the elderly woman crapped in her diaper. The incident is an absolute joke and a waste of time of the other passengers waiting to get through check point. TSA needs to be abolished!

(CNN) -- The Transportation Security Administration has denied that its agents required a 95-year-old woman to remove her adult diaper last week before allowing her to pass a screening checkpoint at Northwest Florida Regional Airport.

"While every person and item must be screened before entering the secure boarding area, TSA works with passengers to resolve security alarms in a respectful and sensitive manner," the agency said Sunday night in a statement. "We have reviewed the circumstances involving this screening and determined that our officers acted professionally, according to proper procedure and did not require this passenger to remove an adult diaper."

A response released earlier Sunday by the TSA said that the agency had reviewed the circumstances "and determined that our officers acted professionally and according to proper procedure."

The woman's daughter, Jean Weber, told CNN on Monday that the TSA agents acted professionally and never ordered the removal of her mother's diaper. However, Weber said the agents made it clear that her mother could not board the plane unless they were able to inspect the diaper.

According to Weber, it was her idea to remove the diaper so it could be inspected and they could make their flight.

"They were doing their job according to the instructions of the TSA and their policies," Weber said, later adding that the options offered them were to remove the diaper or "she was not going to get on the plane."

This is not the first time that the TSA's pat-downs of passengers have come under fire, nor the first time that the agency has rallied behind its officers and policy.

TSA Made Elderly Woman Remove Adult Diaper During Pat Down

I had to copy the whole article to make the reader furious. TSA must be abolished. While TSA will allow Muslim women wearing a Burka and suspicious Muslim men pass through check point, it is easier to target small children and elderly adults. If the elderly lady crapped in her Depends, I would make the TSA agent touch it. TSA are profiling the wrong damn group of people. This is an outrage!

(Newsherald) A woman has filed a complaint with federal authorities over how her elderly mother was treated at Northwest Florida Regional Airport last weekend.

Jean Weber of Destin filed a complaint with the Department of Homeland Security after her 95-year-old mother was detained and extensively searched last Saturday while trying to board a plane to fly to Michigan to be with family members during the final stages of her battle with leukemia.

Her mother, who was in a wheelchair, was asked to remove an adult diaper in order to complete a pat-down search.

“It’s something I couldn’t imagine happening on American soil,” Weber said Friday. “Here is my mother, 95 years old, 105 pounds, barely able to stand, and then this.”

Sari Koshetz, a spokeswoman for the Transportation Security Administration in Miami, said she could not comment on specific cases to protect the privacy of those involved.

“The TSA works with passengers to resolve any security alarms in a respectful and sensitive manner,” she said.

Weber’s mother entered the airport’s security checkpoint in a wheelchair because she was not stable enough to walk through, Weber said.

Wheelchairs trigger certain protocols, including pat-downs and possible swabbing for explosives, Koshetz said.

“During any part of the process, if there is an alarm, then we have to resolve that alarm,” she said.

Weber said she did not know whether her mother had triggered an alarm during the 45 minutes they were detained.

She said her mother was first pulled aside into a glass-partitioned area and patted down. Then she was taken to another room to protect her privacy during a more extensive search, Weber said.

Weber said she sat outside the room during the search.

She said security personnel then came out and told her they would need for her mother to remove her Depends diaper because it was soiled and was impeding their search.

Weber wheeled her mother into a bathroom, removed her diaper and returned. Her mother did not have another clean diaper with her, Weber said.

Weber said she wished there were less invasive search methods for an elderly person who is unable to walk through security gates.

“I don’t understand why they have to put them through that kind of procedure,” she said.

Koshetz said the procedures are the same for everyone to ensure national security.

“TSA cannot exempt any group from screening because we know from intelligence that there are terrorists out there that would then exploit that vulnerability,” she said.

Weber filed a complaint through Northwest Florida Regional’s website. She said she received a response from a Homeland Security representative at the airport on Tuesday and spoke to that person on the phone Wednesday.

The representative told her that personnel had followed procedures during the search, Weber said.

“Then I thought, if you’re just following rules and regulations, then the rules and regulations need to be changed,” she said.

Weber said she plans to file additional complaints next week.

“I’m not one to make waves, but dadgummit, this is wrong. People need to know. Next time it could be you.”

In Gold Cup Final, It Is Red, White and Boo Again

Soccer is a worldwide sport. It represent the pride of a country, and the sport is a very serious affair. There is no other place on this earth that could fill a football stadium with folks whose roots are somewhere else. It is disgusting to see a stadium in the United States filled with Americans and booing to Americans. It would be a feast day for Immigration to close off the stadium and sought out all the illegal aliens attending the soccer game. The illegal aliens attending the game were disrespectful to America and the American flag. They weren't booing at the American soccer players. They were booing for who they represent.

(LA Times) It was imperfectly odd. It was strangely unsettling. It was uniquely American.

On a balmy early Saturday summer evening, the U.S soccer team played for a prestigious championship in a U.S. stadium … and was smothered in boos.

Its fans were vastly outnumbered. Its goalkeeper was bathed in a chanted obscenity. Even its national anthem was filled with the blowing of air horns and bouncing of beach balls.

Most of these hostile visitors didn't live in another country. Most, in fact, were not visitors at all, many of them being U.S. residents whose lives are here but whose sporting souls remain elsewhere.

Welcome to another unveiling of that social portrait known as a U.S.-Mexico soccer match, streaked as always in deep colors of red, white, blue, green … and gray.

It wasn't just something. It was everything. I've never heard more consistent loud cheering for one team here, from the air horns to the "Ole" chants with each Mexico pass, all set to the soundtrack of a low throbbing roar that began in the parking lot about six hours before the game and continued long into the night.

Even when the U.S. scored the first two goals, the Mexico cheers stayed strong, perhaps inspiring El Tri to four consecutive goals against a U.S. team that seemed dazed and confused. Then when it ended, and the Mexican players had danced across the center of the field in giddy wonder while the U.S. players had staggered to the sidelines in disillusionment, the madness continued.

Because nobody left. Rather amazingly, the Mexico fans kept bouncing and cheering under headbands and sombreros, nobody moving an inch, the giant Rose Bowl jammed for a postgame trophy ceremony for perhaps the first time in its history.

And, yes, when the U.S. team was announced one final time, it was once again booed.

How many places are so diverse that it could fill football stadiums with folks whose roots are somewhere else? How many places offer such a freedom of speech that someone can display an American flag on their porch one day and cheer against the flag the next?

Mexico rallies for a 4-2 win over U.S. behind overwhelming support at Rose Bowl. In what other country would the visitors have home-field advantage?

Michelle Obama Admits That Barack Has Help From The Media

Click to View Video: Michelle Obama: "Fortunately, We Have Help From The Media"

The reality came straight from the horses mouth. The media has always protected liberal presidents. It was a nice gaffe to put everything into perspective.

In an interview with CNN, First Lady Michelle Obama thanks the media for their "support" and "kindness."

CNN reporter: "How's the family ready for this [the election]? It's going to be quite vicious, isn't it? How do you prepare for that?"

First Lady Michelle Obama: "You know, it's … we're ready, you know. Our children, you know, could care less about what we're doing. We work hard to do that. Fortunately, we have help from the media. I have to say this: I'm very grateful for the support and kindness that we've gotten. People have respected their privacy and in that way, I think, you know, no matter what people may feel about my husband's policies or what have you, they care about children and that's been good to see."

Obama, Tax Cuts and Cut Spending Wont Lead to Prosperity

Obama said the nation needs to invest in education, infrastructure and new technologies to grow the U.S. economy. Americans will not deny that, but the president does not speak how to fix the economy. By fixing the economy, America can invest in education, infrastructure, and new technologies. Obama should mention to cut spending, give tax cuts to small business, get rid of Obamacare, fix Social Security, and make use more energy independent. Honestly, America would definitely prosper without Obama in the White House.

(CNBC) President Barack Obama said Saturday he remained committed to working with Congress to find a solution to the government's debt problem, but the focus could not only be on spending cuts.

Obama's comments come as the president prepared to meet separately with Senate Democratic and Republican leaders Monday to attempt to revive negotiations that collapsed Thursday when Republicans walked out over Democrats' demands for tax hikes.

"Of course, there's been a real debate about where to invest and where to cut, and I'm committed to working with members of both parties to cut our deficits and debt," Obama said in his weekly radio address. "But we can't simply cut our way to prosperity," he added.

Obama said the nation still needed to invest in education, infrastructure and developing new technologies to grow the U.S. economy.

Economy Expected to be Very Ugly in Months Ahead

The economists are usually wrong in their assessment of the economy. It is difficult to try to paint a rosy picture. In reality, the economy sucks! Obama and his liberal ideology is not right for this country. Being in office for 3 years, Obama took the "Blame Bush" mantra to "I just don't understand." It is not rocket science. Obama's economic policies are harmful to this country. His foreign policy is laughable and insane. The commonsense approach is something a egomaniac narcissist would not understand.

(CNBC) A drumbeat of disappointing data about consumer behavior, factory sales and weak hiring in recent weeks has prompted economists to ratchet down their 2011 economic forecasts to as little as half what they expected at the beginning of the year.

Two months ago, Goldman Sachs projected that the economy would grow at a 4 percent annual rate in the quarter ending in June. The company now expects the government to report no more than 2 percent growth when data for the second quarter is released in a few weeks.

Macroeconomic Advisers, a research firm, projected 3.5 percent growth back in April and is now down to just 2.1 percent for this quarter.

Both these firms, well respected in their analysis, have cut their forecasts for the second half of the year as well. Then this week, the Federal Reserve downgraded its projections for the full year, to under 3 percent growth. It started the year with guidance as high as 3.9 percent.

Earlier this week, Mr. Bernanke confessed that “some of these headwinds may be stronger and more persistent than we thought,” adding, “we don’t have a precise read on why this slower pace of growth is persisting.”

Economists say the unexpected shocks from Japan and the Middle East in the first half of the year go only partway toward explaining the deceleration. Many worries remain: housing prices have continued to fall, hiring is weak, wages are flat, growth in emerging economies like China and India is slowing and the debt crisis in Europe could have ripple effects.

Geithner, Taxes on Small Business So Government Doesnt Shrink

Tax cheat Tim Geithener admits wanting to tax small business owners making over $250,000 to fund the government entitlement programs. It is obvious that Tim Geithner does not understand economics. By targeting a certain group that creates 70% of jobs in America, the Obama Administration is punishing success in this country. Obama despises people who are innovated, business-minded, and accomplished. Geithener still blames Bush for Obama's ineptitude. It is important to remind the American people there is a big difference between Bush and Obama on fiscal policies. President Bush expanded the federal budget by $700 billion through 2008, but President Obama would add another $1 trillion. President Bush began to correct financial bailouts, but President Obama is accelerating that course and added bailouts to the private sector like banks and the auto industry. President Bush created a Medicare drug entitlement that will cost an estimated $800 billion in its first decade, but President Obama has proposed a $634 billion down payment on Obamacare. President Bush increased federal education spending 58 percent faster than inflation, but President Obama doubled it. President Bush became the first President to spend 3 percent of GDP on federal antipoverty programs, but President Obama has already increased this spending by 20 percent and put more Americans under the welfare program. President Bush tilted the income tax burden more toward upper-income taxpayers, but President Obama would continue to tax on the upper-income taxpayers, and also, he would tax the middle class.

(CNSNews.com) - Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told the House Small Business Committee on Wednesday that the Obama administration believes taxes on small business must increase so the administration does not have to “shrink the overall size of government programs.”

The administration’s plan to raise the tax rate on small businesses is part of its plan to raise taxes on all Americans who make more than $250,000 per year—including businesses that file taxes the same way individuals and families do.

Geithner’s explanation of the administration's small-business tax plan came in an exchange with first-term Rep. Renee Ellmers (R.-N.C.). Ellmers, a nurse, decided to run for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010 after she became active in the grass-roots opposition to President Barack Obama’s proposed health-care reform plan in 2009.

“Looking into the future, you are supporting the idea of taxation, increasing taxes on those who make $250,000 or more. Those are our business owners,” said Ellmers.

Geithner initially responded by saying that the administration’s planned tax increase would hit “three percent of your small businesses.”

Ellmers then said: “Sixty-four percent of jobs that are created in this country are for small business.”

Geithner conceded the point, but then suggested the administration’s planned tax increase on small businesses would be “good for growth.”

Senate Passes Ethanol Tax Break Bill

This is a travesty. Since the MSM failed to report the news, the Senate just approved extending Ethanol subsidizes to the American farmer. An Ethanol tax break is a scam against the American tax payer. Ethanol subsidizes are only making the farmers rich. There are many facts that are not advantageous using Ethanol. Ethanol retains water, and it creates a water problem in the fuel tank and fuel line. Ethanol is known to dissolve plastic and other solid materials. Ethanol will dissolve varnish, rust on steel, and corrosion on aluminum tanks, which will contaminate the fuel. Also, ethanol has been known to dissolve components in the fuel system. Ethanol is a good paint stripper. As it breaks off gum and resin deposited by years of gasoline sitting around in tanks, it turns into sticky goo. This will plug filters, ruin carburetors and fuel injectors, and may cause complete engine shutdown. Besides, Ethanol gets poor gas mileage. Typically, it is more expensive than gasoline, and it is not cost effective. Since Ethanol produces less energy than petroleum gasoline when burned, gas mileage is reduced by 25 percent. The process to make Ethanol is an energy-intensive process that often uses water, electricity generated from coal, another source of greenhouse emissions. Also, it is necessary to add petroleum gasoline to make Ethanol non-drinkable. Overall, Ethanol will not lessen our dependence on foreign oil.

(Nacsonline) WASHINGTON – Republican Sen. Tom Corburn’s proposal to end ethanol tax subsidies did not have the 60 votes necessary to staunch a threatened filibuster. However, the Senate approved a bill that kept the ethanol tax breaks but 34 Republican senators voted against the measure, the Washington Post reports. The bill, sponsored by Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK), would have eliminated the yearly tax credits given to ethanol blenders.

The proposal did not garner enough votes to withstand a promised filibuster, but it get the support of a majority of Republicans, who have vowed to not raise taxes in any fashion, including tax breaks.

“It’s my opinion that it’s a disgraceful subsidy that is unwarranted and a waste of taxpayer dollars,” said Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).

Coburn has been crusading against tax deductions and credits, which has been the subject of much debate lately. Vice President Joe Biden has been meeting with members of Congress to work on a deal that would reduce the national debt and fund the government.

Republicans and Democrats are hammering out the details, which will likely include decreases to spending programs and tax subsidies.

The House is expected to pass the measure to extend the ethanol tax credits.

Democrats Wants to Raise Taxes for Their Mistakes

May 16, 2011, was the day the Democrats screamed the debt ceiling must be raised before the US would default. Well, the time had pass and America is still on its feet. Now, the Democrats called August 2, 2011, as the day the debt ceiling must be raised before America witness a cataclysmic event. As in the boy who cried wolf, the American people understands that the debt ceiling is a joke. There are steps in place to avoid a major disaster. It is a temporary fix, but the solution is obvious. The answer is cut spending. It is easy to revert everything back to the time before Obama came into office. The stimulus bill and Obamacare added to the national debt causing this mess. Obama policies had not improve the economy. The stimulus money was spent to pay back lobbyists and organizations that put Obama into the White House. Since the Democrats screwed up, they want the tax payers to bail them out by increasing taxes. Yes, the Democrats wants to raise taxes. The modern-day Democrats are synonymous to raising taxes. Do not be so surprised!

(Reuters) - Republicans walked out of budget talks on Thursday, setting up a showdown between President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner over how to extend U.S. borrowing and avoid a looming debt default.

Vice President Joe Biden and a handful of lawmakers had been working on a budget-cutting deal that would allow Congress to sign off on continued borrowing, but Republicans quit unexpectedly after saying the group had reached an impasse over tax increases sought by Democrats.

"It is time for the president to speak clearly and resolve the tax issue," said House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, who had represented House Republicans in the talks. Republican Senator Jon Kyl also pulled out.

An agreement would give lawmakers political cover to raise the $14.3 trillion debt ceiling before August 2, when the Treasury Department has said it will run out of money to pay the country's bills.

Boehner said talks could resume if Democrats took tax hikes off the table, but they showed no sign of backing off.

So far, the possibility of default has not affected bond markets as investors focus on other news and assume Washington will ultimately strike a deal -- probably at the last minute.

Negotiators had reached tentative agreement on more than $2 trillion in cuts covering wide swaths of the federal budget, according to an aide familiar with the talks, affecting health programs, annual spending, benefits like farm subsidies and tuition aid, and automatic limits on future spending.

But Democrats would not relent on taxes, the aide said.

Obama Release 30 Million Barrels from US Oil Reserves

Obama releasing 30 million barrels of oil from our Strategic Petroleum Reserve is reminiscent of Bill Clinton stunt in the 90's. White House officials are unable to predict how the release will affect prices at the pumps, but I can give a ball-park guess. During the Clinton Administration, Bill release 30 million barrels of oil and it brought the price at the gas pump down by one cent. There is a likely possibility that Obama's decision will do the same thing too. It would been easier to do what Bush did in 2008. Bush sign an executive order to rescind off shore drilling. That brought down the price of gas dramatically. Obama just gave the American people a teaser.

(Yahoo) WASHINGTON (AP) -- Wary of a new surge in gas prices, the Obama administration said Thursday it is selling off 30 million barrels of oil from the country's emergency reserves as part of a broader international response to lost oil supplies caused by turmoil in the Middle East and North Africa, particularly Libya.

The release from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve will be the largest ever, amounting to half of a 60 million-barrel international infusion of oil planned for the world market over the next month.

Even so, the 30 million barrels to be sold by the United States represents less than two days' worth of domestic oil consumption and about three days of oil imports.

White House officials would not predict how the release will affect prices at the pump, although the move is intended to increase U.S. supplies during the peak summer driving season.

In Desperation, Democrats Want Another Stimulus Bill

Democrats are known to be frugal with their money, but it is "skies the limit" when Democrats spend other people money. In a past blog "2 Million Less Jobs Today Than When Obama Sign Stimulus", the $800 billion stimulus bill created a loss of 2 million jobs. In desperation to improve the economy before the 2012 election, Democrats wants another stimulus bill. It seems they will never understand.

(Reuters) WASHINGTON, June 22- Democratic leaders called on Wednesday for new spending and tax cuts to boost the sluggish U.S. economy, setting up a fresh hurdle for bipartisan efforts to head off a government debt default this summer.

At the same time, a new report warned that the country could face a European-style debt crisis unless Washington cuts spending or raises taxes.

The report by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office adds urgency to the work of negotiators, led by Vice President Joe Biden, who are trying to find trillions of dollars in savings as part of a deal that would allow Congress to sign off on new government borrowing before the U.S. runs out of money to pay its bills.

As the group faces competing demands for stimulus and austerity, some have suggested that it may not be able to get a deal done in time to head off a debt default in early August.

Senate Democrats want the deal to include a payroll tax cut, more money for highway construction and clean-energy subsidies to bring down the 9.1 percent unemployment rate.

Under Obama, US Casualty Rate in Afghanistan Jumped 5-Fold

Our president is incompetent. In January 2010, Obama added 30,000 additional troops in Afghanistan because the needed support was dire. Today, Obama is withdrawing 33,000 troops from Afghanistan. The first phase of the pull out is 10,000 troops by December 2011. The completion (23,000 troops) will occur before the 2012 election. The pull out is publicity stunt to appease the anti-war supporters. If 30,000 troops were needed in Afghanistan last year, removing 33,000 troops will not improve the situation.

(CNSNews.com) - The average monthly casualty rate for U.S. military forces serving in Afghanistan has increased 5-fold since President Barack Obama was inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2009.

1,540 U.S. troops have been killed in Afghanistan since Oct. 7,2001, when U.S. forces began action in that country to oust the Taliban regime that had been harboring al Qaeda and to track down and capture or kill al Qaeda terrorists.

During the Bush presidency, which ended on Jan. 20, 2009 with the inauguration of President Obama, U.S. troops were present in Afghanistan for 87.4 months and suffered 570 casualties—a rate of 6.5 deaths per month.

During the Obama presidency, through today, U.S. troops have been present in Afghanistan for 29.1 months and have suffered 970 casualties—a rate of 33.3 deaths per month.

This evening President Obama is expected to announce the scope of U.S. troop withdrawals set to begin next month.

Obama Gets 30 Percent of Americans Support Re-Election

If 30% of Americans will support another Obama term, the majority of Americans want the bum out. American will not accept that the proper change will occur. They believe three and one-half years of bad policies is enough.

(Boomberg) Americans are growing more dissatisfied with President Barack Obama’s handling of the economy and say it will be hard to vote to re-elect him without seeing significant progress over the next year and a half.

By a margin of 61 percent to 37 percent, a Bloomberg National Poll conducted June 17-20 shows Americans say they believe that Obama will have had his chance to make the economy “substantially better” by the end of 2012.

Only 30 percent of respondents said they are certain to vote for the president and 36 percent said they definitely won’t. Among likely independent voters, only 23 percent said they will back his re-election, while 36 percent said they definitely will look for another candidate

With unemployment and jobs ranking as the most important issue facing the country and lawmakers mired in debates to cut the nation’s long-term debt, the poll’s findings underscore a central challenge for Obama’s re-election team: making the 2012 campaign a choice between competing visions for the country’s future rather than a referendum on his job performance.

If McCain Runs in 2012, Obama Gets Another Term as Prez

In 2008, McCain made several impromptu visit with then president-elect Obama. The conversation did not make headline news. In fact, the discussion between Obama and McCain was not discussed. It remains a secret. The speculation of a McCain run may explain the secret conversation. McCain can run to preserve another Obama term in the White House. The Washington elitist always stick together. McCain is no exception.

(Yahoo) WASHINGTON – Sen. John McCain is brushing aside any questions about whether he might ultimately decide to run for president again in 2012.

McCain was asked in an NBC "Today" show interview whether he'd get into the sweepstakes if it looked like there were no clear front-runner.

The Arizona Republican smiled and told interviewer Ann Curry, "There's a long history of masochism in my family, but not so severe" as to make him want to run again.

McCain's comment came on the same day that former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman was getting ready to formally enter the race, becoming the eighth candidate to officially declare. McCain lost to Barack Obama in 2008 in a race that was not close.

Black Unemployment at 16 percent, but They Love Obama

Obama is intentionally throwing Blacks under that bus. It is about controlling the base. By suppressing the Blacks and making them more dependent on the government, Obama can guarantee the Black vote. In fact, Obama is doing this to America. By destroying the American dream, we succumb ourselves to the evil empire. This is destroying the very fabric our founding father had intended for our county. If the Black community decides to re-elect Obama in 2012, it is then assumed they voted because of the color of the skin, instead on the economy.

(CBS News) The economy and jobs will be big issues in Washington again this coming week.

While unemployment among the general population is about 9.1 percent, it's at 16.2 percent African Americans, and a bit higher still for African American males.

CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller reports that, historically, the unemployment rate for African Americans has always been higher than the national average. However, now it's at Depression-era levels. The most recent figures show African American joblessness at 16.2 percent. For black males, it's at 17.5 percent; And for black teens, it's nearly 41 percent.

For some, it's crunch time at STRIVE, a job training program in East Harlem, where instructors use drill sergeant-like techniques. They teach job-seekers to correct their mistakes by fining them a quarter each time they make them.

For young men of color, especially black males in New York City, things are especially bad. According to the think tank, the Community Service Society, 34 percent of New York's young black men age 19 to 24 are not working.

"If you haven't connected with the world of work by the age of 25, it's a permanent problem for the rest of your career," says David Johns with the Community Service Society

For those with less than a college education, finding a job alone isn't the answer. Even if they secure employment, it's often below minimum wage, and in places like New York City, it's barely enough to survive.

Jermaine Christian, currently working as a restaurant busboy, graduated from one of the top high schools in the city in 2010. He can't afford college, so after searching for a year now, he works for $5.50 per hour.

Obama 3 year No Show Piss Off Hispanics

If the president is finding difficulty to go into a venue where he is pandering to Latinos, it does not matter. Obama does not care. The president understands that Latinos are rising at an amazing pace in America. Obama and the Democrats understand it, and they want to capitalize on the Latino vote. The president could cut down on his golfing and his mini-vacations. Instead, the narrative coming from the White House is to blame the Republicans. Since blaming Bush backfired in the 2010 elections, the escape goat for 2011 is the Republicans. Ironically, the Democrats lost in 2010 because they were in charge since 2006. Latinos need to wise up and look at the economy. In 3 years, Obama accomplished very little in the White House. Instead of improving the economy, the only improvement is his golf score.

(Politico) Leaders of a national Hispanic organization are criticizing President Barack Obama for skipping their annual conference for the third consecutive year after he promised as a candidate in 2008 that he would return as president.

Some members of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials also are questioning Obama’s commitment to immigration reform, noting that deportations have increased under his watch — even as the administration intensifies its outreach for Hispanic votes. NALEO, which includes more than 6,000 Latino leaders who represent major blocs of voters in key electoral states, opens its annual conference Thursday in San Antonio.

The rift is noteworthy — and even a little puzzling — because of the administration’s aggressive push for Hispanic support ahead of 2012. Obama’s campaign team is trying to raise historically low rates of Hispanic registration and voter turnout in at least a half-dozen swing states, and one Obama adviser involved in his reelection effort recently told POLITICO, “Hispanics could very well decide this election.”

Investors Business Daily has brought back the Misery Index to the news. President Obama average Misery Index is 10.37 topping that of George W. Bush 8.11 and Clinton at 7.8. While things are bad, Obama will soon top the days of Jimmy Carter at peak Misery Index of 21.98. If the American people continue support Obama and re-elect this president in 2012, I am assuming that the American people are really into sadomasochism or commonly known as "S&M."

(IBD) Conceived by economist Arthur Okun in the early 1970s, the Misery Index simply adds together the inflation and unemployment rates to create an effective indicator of real-world suffering.

It gained notoriety under President Carter, whose growth-choking, easy-money policies pushed the index to its post-World War II high. Now, under President Obama's equally disastrous economic policies, the Misery Index is making its return.

The annual inflation rate for May climbed to 3.6% as price spikes spread beyond oil and food. At the same time, May's unemployment rate edged up to 9.1%, yielding a Misery Index of 12.7.

That marks the fourth straight monthly increase in the index, which is now 62% higher than it was when Obama took office, and 57% higher than it was when the recession officially ended.

Obama's Misery Index average of 10.37 is higher than George W. Bush's (8.11) or Bill Clinton's (7.8).

Admittedly, we're a long way from the 21.98 peak during the Carter administration. But with Obama vigorously stirring the stagflation cauldron for the past 2 1/2 years, it should be no surprise that we're heading in that direction.

How Miserable? Index Says the Worst in 28 Years

Under Obama, America is miserable with the socialist policies the president implemented. The Misery Index is the highest in 28 years under Obama (12.7). Under Bush, the average Misery Index was 8.1, and under Clinton, it was 7.8. It doesn't matter what the media say. The American people controls the economy, and they say, "It sucks!"

(CNBC) When it comes to measuring the combination of unemployment and inflation, it doesn’t get much more miserable than this.

In fact, misery, as measured in the unofficial Misery Index that simply totals the unemployment and inflation rates, is at a 28-year high, reflective of how weak the economic recovery has been and how far there is to go.

The index, first compiled during the soaring inflation days of the 1970s by economist Arthur Okun, is registering a nausea-inducing 12.7—9.1 percent for unemployment and 3.6 percent for annualized inflation—a number not seen since 1983. The index has been above 10 since November 2009 and had been under double-digits from June 1993 through May 2008.

Obama slammed at liberal conference

If Liberals are discontent with Obama, the presidential race in 2012 will be an upward battle for the incumbent. Obama is losing his base. As long there is no third party running in 2012, Obama will be a one term president.

(Washington Times) As President Obama shifts increasingly into reelection mode, he is feeling persistent anger and discontent from the left as well as the right.

White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer was heckled and booed Friday at the annual Netroots Nation conference in Minnesota, a gathering of liberal activists from the online political community. When Mr. Pfeiffer reminded the audience that the president championed an equal-pay law, the moderator replied, “Frankly we’re a little sick of hearing about that one.”

Less than 24 hours earlier, White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley heard heated complaints from business leaders about burdensome government regulations at a meeting of the National Association of Manufacturers in Washington. As Mr. Daley listened to tales of the administration’s unnecessary interference in industry, he replied, “Sometimes you can’t defend the indefensible.”

The president’s uneasy relationship with the business community has endured since the beginning of his term. But as Mr. Obama has traveled the county recently to speak at Democratic fundraisers, the president also has acknowledged that liberal supporters may have grown disillusioned with his leadership.

The president’s uneasy relationship with the business community has endured since the beginning of his term. But as Mr. Obama has traveled the county recently to speak at Democratic fundraisers, the president also has acknowledged that liberal supporters may have grown disillusioned with his leadership.

But as the president has tried to energize supporters, implicit in his remarks is the danger that fewer people from his 2008 army of volunteers will feel motivated to work for him in 2012.

One Year Later and Still No Recovery Summer Obama Promised

Obama is clueless about the economy. Instead of improving the economy, the president cares more of the lobbyist and bridging the Muslim communities. I resent Obama's laziness, lies, and gaffes. Obama recently called the stall in the economy as a “bump in the road.” Also, Obama blames ATMs for job loses. Just recently, the president joked about the “shovel ready jobs” he promised “weren’t as shovel ready as we expected.” The president's statement has infuriate many Americans. It is not funny that the president's policies are keeping workers on the unemployment line and driving us deeper into debt. If this is the recovery Obama desires, it is not what the American people deserve. If this is the recovery Obama desires, it is not what the American people deserve.

(National Review) John Boehner (Speaker of the House). One year ago today, the Obama administration launched its “Recovery Summer” publicity tour to bolster flagging support for the “stimulus.” Vice President Biden said, “The fact is, the recovery act is working.” But the fact is, it didn’t. “Recovery Summer” fizzled, much like the “stimulus” itself.

Republicans have a real blueprint for job creation — the “Plan for America’s Job Creators.” What makes our plan different is that it focuses on one thing: removing government barriers to private-sector job growth.

The “stimulus” was all about big spending and big government — not jobs. That was obvious on the day the “Recovery Summer” began in my home state of Ohio. Local construction workers on a nearby site in Columbus were forced to take the day off, without pay, so the White House entourage could roll through and tout all the taxpayer dollars they were spending. But all that spending got us was more debt and fewer jobs.

Approximately 1.5 million jobs have been lost since the “stimulus” was signed in 2009 — roughly 300,000 of them as administration officials hopped from town to town promoting the “summer of recovery.” The national unemployment rate was 9.1 percent in May — far above the 8 percent promised by the White House — and has averaged 9.5 percent throughout the Obama presidency.

The anniversary of President Obama’s “Recovery Summer” publicity stunt is a good reminder that families and small businesses in Ohio and across the country can’t afford more spending and more debt — they need more jobs. And Republicans are listening.

The Republican plan — reining in excessive regulations, expanding energy production, paying down our debt, fixing our tax code, and opening new markets for American-made goods — is a serious blueprint for private-sector job creation and long-term economic growth.

Gallup Poll Says Obama Loses to Generic Republican

It confirms Obama statement saying he accept a one term presidency. At this rate, the media is Obama only hope to win 2012.

(Gallup) PRINCETON, NJ -- Forty-four percent of registered voters say they are more likely to vote for "the Republican Party's candidate" and 39% for Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election, according to Gallup's June update. The current five-percentage-point edge for the generic Republican is not a statistically significant lead, and neither side has held a meaningful lead at any point thus far in 2011.

While Millions in Poverty, Nancy Pelosi Wealth Doubled

While the Democrats try to destroy the economy, the former House Speaker improves her net worth by 62%. As unemployment remains at 9.1%, Nancy Pelosi remains defiant to the American people. Democrats have no plan to improve the economy and jobs. Americans are being burden with over regulation, over taxation, and wasteful spending. While millions of people in poverty in American, Democrats are finding ways to bleed us dry.

(The Hill) House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) saw her net worth rise 62 percent last year, cementing her status as one of the wealthiest members of Congress.

Pelosi was worth at least $35.2 million in the 2010 calendar year, according to a financial disclosure report released Wednesday. She reported a minimum of $43.4 million in assets and about $8.2 milion in liabilities.

For 2009, Pelosi reported a minimum net worth of $21.7 million.

Pelosi saw her wealth rise due to some stock gains and real estate investments made by her husband, Paul.

Apple stock owned by Pelosi's spouse rose from at least $500,000 in 2009 to $1 million in 2010. The minority leader's husband also took a bigger stake in Matthews International Capital Management — worth at least $5 million last year, compared to $1 million in 2009 — and his investment in some undeveloped residential real estate in Sacramento, Calif., jumped to at least $5 million in value.

Paul Pelosi also has sizable assets in the United Football League, including $1 million in a partnership interest in a Jacksonville, Fla., franchise and $5 million in a partnership interest for the Sacramento Lions.

Anthony Weiner Resigning, Damn Pervert

Justice has been served!

(Yahoo) Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) has told his friends he is prepared to resign from Congress, the New York Times reports.

A Democratic source tells HuffPost's Sam Stein that Weiner called Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.), who chairs the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday night to alert them of his plans to step down today.

A Democratic source tells HuffPost's Mike McAuliff, "At least the nightmare is over."

In recent weeks, the embattled congressman has resisted calls to resign from his post amid intense controversy surrounding inappropriate interactions he admitted to engaging in online and lewd photos surfacing of the congressman.

The DNC Says The Democrats Own The Economy

DNC chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz uttered four words that will come back to haunt her in the future – “Democrats own the economy.” The DNC chairwoman said, “Democrats are ready to take responsibility for the state of the economy and they deserve credit for putting it on the right track...We own the economy. We own the beginning of the turnaround and we want to make sure that we continue that pace of recovery, not go back to the policies of the past under the Bush administration that put us in the ditch in the first place.”

Schultz costly gaffe was made as America enters into the 2012 election season. She says this when unemployment is at 9.1 percent and the majority of Americans rate the economy negatively. She has linked Obama and the economy right at the hip! This is a major gaff and it’s gonna come back to haunt her.

Beatable, And Obama Knows It

The president has already accept defeat in 2012. Also, Obama has stated that he would accept being a one term president. Obama knows that he won't have the support he had in 2008. The only way he could win is by a third party candidate entering the race or by cheating. Since FDR, there has been no incumbent president that was re-elected with a high unemployment and a dismal economy. Let's hope the trend continues.

(IBD) Politics: The president jokes about unemployment and says ATM machines kill jobs. Mean-while, one of his top aides says 2012 voters should avoid "affixing blame." Sounds to us like someone who knows he's in trouble.

The Republican National Committee could not have scripted a more damning sound bite. President Obama on Monday attended his administration's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness at an enviro-friendly lighting firm in North Carolina. Considering the dismal state of the economy, it should have been a subdued event.

But when it was explained to the president that the federal permit process for construction and infrastructure projects can cause delays ranging from "months to years," and "in many cases even cause projects to be abandoned," a gaffe ensued.

It was remarked to the president, "I'm sure that when you implemented the Recovery Act, your staff briefed you on many of these challenges." A smiling Obama responded, "shovel-ready was not as . .. uh ... shovel-ready as we expected."

Even the staging couldn't have been more hurtful. Big signs reading "Jobs Council" loomed above him and adorned the desk at which he sat. After the president's quip, members of his "Jobs Council," led by his friend, General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt, laughed heartily.

During the event, the president asked, "How do we deal with making sure our regulations make sense, so that we start eliminating ones that don't work, aren't making consumers better off or aren't improving our quality of life?"

Was that a joke too? Shouldn't the president have known the answer to that question before running for president — not nearly 2 1/2 years into his term of office? Start eliminating defective, job-destroying regs? Start that process this late in the game?

If the president's joke wasn't funny to the nearly 2 million Americans who had jobs when Obama signed the Democrats' $800 billion stimulus into law, but don't have jobs today — or the other 12 million unemployed Americans — his ATM crack is even less amusing.

"The other thing that happened," the president claimed in an NBC "Today Show" interview Tuesday, "is there are some structural issues with our economy where a lot of businesses have learned to become much more efficient with a lot fewer workers.

"You see it when you go to a bank and you use an ATM. You don't go to a bank teller. Or you go to the airport and you're using a kiosk instead of checking in at the gate."

ATMs and automatic check-ins were invented since the stimulus? They weren't around when the country was enjoying 4.5% unemployment under George W. Bush? It's a socialist fairy tale to blame automation for killing jobs; it's always brought new jobs because it lets businesses expand faster.

In 1963, AFL-CIO president George Meany similarly called automation "a curse" and "a real threat" that "could bring us to national catastrophe." But automation reduced the price of any and every type of manufactured good, and made more wealth available for new projects and new jobs. Has the U.S. economy of the last half-century been a "catastrophe"?

No wonder former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told CNN on Monday that the 2012 election shouldn't be about "affixing blame" for the economy. And no wonder Obama says his family is "not invested in daddy being president."

For someone whose ideas have failed and who is incapable of considering better ones, he seems to know that more time with the family is an idea the voters may take him up on.

2 Million Less Jobs Today Than When Obama Sign Stimulus

This is a perfect example how the government can not physically create jobs. The government is not their responsibility to create jobs. They can expand the Federal work force and create jobs that way. Unfortunately, a hiring of a federal employee is another burden to the tax payer in the private sector. Therefore, the $800 billion stimulus bill created a loss of 2 million jobs. I hope the American people are paying attention.

(CNSNews.com) – Twenty-eight months after Congress passed President Obama’s signature economic stimulus law, and nearly one year after he declared the summer of 2010 to be “Recovery Summer,” 1.9 million fewer people are employed.

In February 2009, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that 141.7 million people were employed. By the end of May 2011 – the last month for which data are available – that number had fallen to 139.8 million, a difference of 1.9 million.

While the number of people with jobs has increased slightly from its low point during the recession – 137.9 million in December 2009 – those 1.9 million jobs have been lost despite $800 billion in stimulus spending.

This does not mean that the economy is not creating jobs, but rather that it is not creating jobs fast enough to keep up with a combination of layoffs and people entering the job market for the first time

Electric Cars Produce More Emissions than Gas Fueled Cars

Not only green energy will cost jobs, the technology is too premature to satisfy the global climate nut-jobs. Therefore, "Drill Baby Drill"!!!

(The Australian) — Electric cars could produce higher emissions over their lifetimes than petrol equivalents because of the energy consumed in making their batteries, a study has found.

An electric car owner would have to drive at least 129,000km before producing a net saving in CO2. Many electric cars will not travel that far in their lifetime because they typically have a range of less than 145km on a single charge and are unsuitable for long trips. Even those driven 160,000km would save only about a tonne of CO2 over their lifetimes.

The British study, which is the first analysis of the full lifetime emissions of electric cars covering manufacturing, driving and disposal, undermines the case for tackling climate change by the rapid introduction of electric cars.

The Committee on Climate Change, the UK government watchdog, has called for the number of electric cars on Britain’s roads to increase from a few hundred now to 1.7 million by 2020.

Britain’s Department for Transport is spending $66 million over the next year giving up to 8,600 buyers of electric cars a grant of $7700 towards the purchase price. Ministers are considering extending the scheme.

The study was commissioned by the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership, which is jointly funded by the British government and the car industry. It found that a mid-size electric car would produce 23.1 tonnes of CO2 over its lifetime, compared with 24 tonnes for a similar petrol car. Emissions from manufacturing electric cars are at least 50 per cent higher because batteries are made from materials such as lithium, copper and refined silicon, which require much energy to be processed.

Many electric cars are expected to need a replacement battery after a few years. Once the emissions from producing the second battery are added in, the total CO2 from producing an electric car rises to 12.6 tonnes, compared with 5.6 tonnes for a petrol car.

US Is in Even Worse Shape Financially Than Greece

America is $100 trillion dollars in total debt. America is in worst financial shape than Greece. In other words, America is bankrupt!

(CNBC) When adding in all of the money owed to cover future liabilities in entitlement programs the US is actually in worse financial shape than Greece and other debt-laden European countries, Pimco's Bill Gross told CNBC Monday.

Much of the public focus is on the nation's public debt, which is $14.3 trillion. But that doesn't include money guaranteed for Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, which comes to close to $50 trillion, according to government figures.

The government also is on the hook for other debts such as the programs related to the bailout of the financial system following the crisis of 2008 and 2009, government figures show.

Taken together, Gross puts the total at "nearly $100 trillion," that while perhaps a bit on the high side, places the country in a highly unenviable fiscal position that he said won't find a solution overnight.

The move reflects increasing concern from the financial community over whether the US is capable of a political solution to its burgeoning debt and deficit problems.

Should the debt problem in Greece explode into a full-blown crisis—an International Monetary Fund bailout has prevented a full-scale meltdown so far—Gross predicted that German debt, not that of the US, would be the safe-haven of choice for global investors.

Hispanics Lack of Support in Obama Fundraiser in Miami

It is nice how the Obama Administration tries to downplay the lack of support among the Spanish population in Miami. A 2,200 seat capacity concert hall was going over the top to seat only 900 people. Obama's coordinators could have settled a conference center at the Ramada. It would have been more cost effective and less embarrassing.

(Politico) MIAMI, Fla. -- A low-dollar fundraiser here Monday felt like a throwback to the 2008 campaign.

There was the same old soundtrack – including “City of Blinding Lights” by U2, the president’s 2008 anthem -- the enthusiastic organizers and the abundant appeals for supporters to rally behind President Obama.

The one missing element? Overflowing crowds.

Granted, it was a fundraiser, not a free rally. But the empty seats were hard to miss.

The top level of the 2,200-seat concert hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center for Performing Arts was entirely empty, as were the seats along the side of the second and third levels.

"The expectation was 900," a Democratic official said, and more than 980 tickets were sold.

Tickets for the Gen 44 event started at $44, the official said.

"This is going to be a very tough fight," said Alonzo Mourning, the former Miami Heat player, who spoke ahead of the president. Once Obama took the stage, a protester interrupted him at one point, repeatedly yelling: "Keep your promise, stop AIDS now." But the protester was quickly drowned out by the audience chanting, "Obama, Obama, Obama."

"The reason we’re here today is because our work’s not done," Obama said after hushing the crowd. "Our work is not complete. We're not at the summit. We’re just part way up the mountain. There is more to do."

He didn't directly address the protester's issue.

Gibbs, Election Not About Blaming Someone For The Economy

Former press secretary Robert Gibbs is suggesting to blame Bush for the economic woes and not Obama. Polls have already shown that the economy is Obama's responsibility. Since being in office for 2 year, Obama has demonstrated that spending tax payers money to get out of a recession does not work. Gibbs has stated that the blame game will not fix the economy. Also, Gibbs is suggesting that the policies of Obama did not work and we should not blame the president for his poor choices.

Click to View Gibbs Stupidity: Gibbs: Election Not About Blaming Someone For The Economy

Robert Gibbs says this election is not about "affixing blame" to the economic crisis after he noted people still blame Bush more than Obama for the troubled economy.

Gibbs also responds to Obama's "bump in the road" comment that Romney pounced on in a web ad.

"This is not going to be and I'm not setting this up to be an election to blame George Bush, but what I'm suggesting is a series of decisions that got us into the mess is not a series of decisions we ought to make to get us out of it," Gibbs told CNN's David Gergen.

Obama jokes about the recovery and he thinks it is funny. Obama would need to reconsider his statement and directly tell that to the American people. For good sakes, this president has his finger on the nuclear bomb. Being president is no laughing matter. It is nice Obama thinks it is a 4 year vacation. Obama is mocking the presidency. The world is collapsing because the president of the United States is taking his job lightly.

(Fox News) President Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness met today in Durham, NC at Cree Inc., a company that manufactures energy-efficient LED lighting. One of the Council's recommendations to President Obama was to streamline the federal permit process for construction and infrastructure projects. It was explained to Obama that the permitting process can delay projects for "months to years ... and in many cases even cause projects to be abandoned ... I'm sure that when you implemented the Recovery Act your staff briefed you on many of these challenges." At this point, Obama smiled and interjected, "Shovel-ready was not as ... uh .. shovel-ready as we expected." The Council, led by GE's Jeffrey Immelt, erupted in laughter.

The Obama administration promised the Recovery Act ("the stimulus") would prevent the jobless rate from going over 8%. It now stands at 9.1%.

People Who Dont Like Sarah Palin is called Palin Envy

I support Sarah Palin because she is the only non-committed candidate that the media, the Washington elitist, Liberals, and the ignorant are unable to control themselves. Rush Limbaugh says Palin is a threat, and I agree with him. It seems there is a lot of Palin envy from the people who oppose her. It is the only reason why many people blow a gasket when Palin's name is mentioned. It is almost as bad as saying the word "Bush". It is disingenuous for people to create controversy when it is a lie. The 13,000 emails, which is 24,000 pages, provide no "gotcha" moments. I would like to see the other presidential candidates release their email. It would be interesting to see if there is any "gotcha" moments with them.

(Telegraph) The trove of more than 13,000 emails detailing almost every aspect of Sarah Palin’s governorship of Alaska, released late on Friday, paints a picture of her as an idealistic, conscientious, humorous and humane woman slightly bemused by the world of politics.

One can only assume that the Left-leaning editors who dispatched teams of reporters to remote Juneau, the Alaskan capital, to pore over the emails in the hope of digging up a scandal are now viewing the result as a rather poor return on their considerable investment.

If anything, Mrs Palin seems likely to emerge from the scrutiny of the 24,000 pages, contained in six boxes and weighing 275 pounds, with her reputation considerably enhanced. As a blogger at Powerline noted, the whole saga might come to be viewed as “an embarrassment for legacy media”.

2012 Troubles Ahead for Obama in Prized Florida

Obama has been concentration his efforts in Florida in the past several months. Because of low poll numbers in Florida, there is a strong possiblity that the president may lose the state in the 2012 elections. It will make winning the 2012 election difficult for Obama. Instead of blaming Bush, it is nice to hear people blaming Obama for the economy.

(Yahoo) TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — President Barack Obama has problems in Florida that he didn't have when he won the prized state in 2008.

The state's economy is worse than elsewhere. Foreclosures are high. Property values are low. As president, Obama could be blamed.

Voters' shifting attitudes show the degree to which the atmosphere has changed since his first campaign. Florida Democrats made gains in 2008 with Obama on the top of the ticket, but the GOP won big two years later.

It's why Obama's campaign team has been on the ground training volunteers 17 months before the election and why the president has been such a frequent visitor to the Sunshine State.

Over the past 10 months, he has played mini-golf and hit the waves in Panama City Beach, eaten a corned beef sandwich at a Miami Beach deli, visited Cape Canaveral, addressed community college graduates in Miami and headlined fundraisers for Florida politicians.

Florida offers 29 electoral votes, more than 10 percent of the 270 he needs to win a second term.

"The president can win the White House re-election without Florida, but it's certainly easier if he does win Florida," said Steve Schale, Obama's Florida director in 2008.

Florida's unemployment rate was 10.8 percent in April, or nearly 2 percentage points higher than the national average. The state has been hit harder by foreclosures and loss in property values than most of the country.

Obama's job performance rating in Florida has hovered between 44 percent and 47 percent, except for a slight increase to 51 percent in a Quinnipiac University poll after Osama bin Laden's death.

The sluggish economic recovery is to blame.

Polls Show Obama is Clueless About Creating Jobs

The 2012 election will be about the economy and JOBS! Soon or later, Obama will realize it! Probably, Obama will forget about JOBS and the recession, and he will concentrate making those 2 foot putts.

(USNEWS) Pollster John Zogby updates our weekly Obama Report Card with a grade on the president's performance. Zogby uses his polling, expert analysis, and interaction with major players to come up with a grade and some comments that capture how he sees the president's week ending.

John Zogby on Week: 125

“Ouch. The monthly jobs report was a swift kick in the shins for the president. Our IBOPE Zogby interactive poll found a slip in Obama’s approval rating, and other polls are finding similar falloffs from his high marks after Osama bin Laden’s demise. The administration may be out of new options for getting people back to work or stabilizing housing prices. The Federal Reserve isn’t going to dramatically shift monetary policy, and hell will freeze over before the Republican House passes a stimulus bill. Instead, Republicans have forced Obama to consider budget cuts to get a debt ceiling increase. The president is increasingly dependent on big business and Wall Street, both to convince Republicans to pass the debt ceiling increase and to use their reserves for new hiring. On the good news front for Obama, conservative Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann is about to enter the Republican primary field, which could throw the GOP race into a tizzy.”

This week’s grade: D

Majority of Americans Believe We are in a Recession

It doesn't matter how the Obama Administration tries to manipulate the economic numbers. Since December 2007, America continues to struggle through this devastating recession. Even though Obama claimed we got out of a recession last summer, the majority of American suggest otherwise.

(Rasmussen) The Rasmussen Consumer Index, which measures the economic confidence of consumers on a daily basis, regained two points on Friday. At 76.5, the Consumer Index is down nine points from a week ago and down seven from a month ago. It is, however, up a point from three months ago.

Overall, confidence in the economy bounced upward following the news about Osama bin Laden just over a month ago. That bounce ended with last week’s disappointing jobs report and confidence has settled back down to March and April levels. Two-thirds of Americans (67 percent) believe that the United States is still in a recession.

Jobless Claims Remains High as Trade Deficit Falls

The media again use the word "unexpected" to describe the latest economic report. We are in a recession. Any economic news will not be rosy. If the reader read the article, it will state that trade deficit fell. Unfortunately, the trade deficit was not with China. It was with Japan. An astute person would realize that the earthquake and nuclear meltdown in Japan has cause a drop in production. Thus, there will be a trade imbalance between Japan and the United States. However, there is a widen trade gap between the United States and China. It doesn't matter what the media says. The bottom line is that under the Obama Administration Americans will suffer another 18 months before we can vote for another president.

(CNBC) The number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment aid unexpectedly edged higher last week, stoking fears of a stalled economic recovery even as a separate report showed record U.S. exports in April.

Initial claims for state jobless benefits increased 1,000 to 427,000, the Labor Department said. However, economists polled by Reuters had forecast claims dropping to 415,000 from a previously reported count of 422,000.

The rise kept first-time claims perched above the 400,000 mark for the ninth week in a row. Analysts normally associate a level below that with steady job growth.

Fueling concerns about job creation, the U.S. government said on Friday the U.S. unemployment rate ticked up to 9.1 percent in May while nonfarm employers added a paltry 54,000 workers to their payrolls.

Hembre said the unemployment rate could rise to 9.2 percent in the June report. That would add to President Barack Obama's political woes heading into the 2012 race for the White House.

If Killing Camels Will Help Global Warming, Can We Kill a Liberal

The stupidity among Liberals are astounding. It has been proven that global warming is a hoax. It seems the government is the only entity who thinks otherwise. Since there are more humans than camels, I have a wonderful ideal. To support the absurdity, instead of killing camels, why can't we kill Liberals instead? Since Liberals produce more manure than camels, it is only logical to get rid of a group that produces more methane equivalent to one ton of carbon dioxide a year.

(Breitbart) Australia is considering awarding carbon credits for killing feral camels as a way to tackle climate change.

The suggestion is included in Canberra's "Carbon Farming Initiative", a consultation paper by the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency, seen Thursday.

Adelaide-based Northwest Carbon, a commercial company, proposed culling some 1.2 million wild camels that roam the Outback, the legacy of herds introduced to help early settlers in the 19th century.

Considered a pest due to the damage they do to vegetation, a camel produces, on average, a methane equivalent to one tonne of carbon dioxide a year, making them collectively one of Australia's major emitters of greenhouse gases.

In its plan, Northwest said it would shoot them from helicopters or muster them and send them to an abattoir for either human or pet consumption.

Famed Rapper Lupe Fiasco Calls Obama a Terrorist

I would love to see the Liberals call Lupe Fiasco a racist and a thug. If this big name rapper can call Obama a terrorist, it is worth noting; especially, Lupe isn't political and doesn't vote. There are many people, who aren't political and don't care to vote, sharing Lupe's grief. Obama's base is disappearing. The effects of Obama's incompetence is radiating across America.

(NBC Chicago) We know of at least one Chicago rapper who won't be getting an invite to the White House anytime soon.

Lupe Fiasco called out President Barack Obama this week, calling his fellow Chicagoan "the biggest terrorist."

The comments came in an interview with CBS News Tuesday while discussing the political content of his music.

"My fight against terrorism, to me, the biggest terrorist is Obama in the United States of America. I'm trying to fight the terrorism that's actually causing the other forms of terrorism. You know, the root cause of terrorism is the stuff the U.S. government allows to happen. The foreign policies that we have in place in different countries that inspire people to become terrorists."

As political as the statement sounds, Fiasco, who grew up on the West Side, says he doesn't vote or get involved in politics.

The controversy is markedly different from another dustup last month involving Chicago rapper, Common, whose invitation to a White House poetry reading caused some conservatives to cry foul.

Obama Top Ten Insults Against Britain 2011

The American people must understand that the president of the United States does not have our good intentions. Obama is destroying the very fabric our founding fathers put forth onto this land. From the economy to national security, America is losing our exceptional status and maintaining world security. By alienating our allies like Great Britain and Israel, Obama is emboldening our enemies like Iran, Syria, Argentina, Nicaragua, North Korea, al-Qaeda, and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Top 10 Obama Insults to Great Britain

1. Siding with Argentina over the Falklands

2. Calling France America’s strongest ally

3. Downgrading the Special Relationship

4. Supporting a federal Europe and undercutting British sovereignty

5. Betraying Britain to appease Moscow over the New START Treaty

6. Placing a “boot on the throat” of BP

7. Throwing Churchill out of the Oval Office

8. DVDs for the Prime Minister

9. Insulting words from the State Department

10. Undermining British influence in NATO

Obama States the Falklands Does Not Belong to the British

Again, Obama decides to side with dictators and the enemy instead of our allies. Obama is now a traitor to the eyes of the American people and our allies around the world. This is not the first time Obama put another slap in the face for Britain.

(Telegraph) President Obama was effusive in his praise for the Special Relationship when he visited London recently, but his administration continues to slap Britain in the face over the highly sensitive Falklands issue. Washington signed on to a “draft declaration on the question of the Malvinas Islands” passed by unanimous consent by the General Assembly of the Organisation of American States (OAS) at its meeting in San Salvador yesterday, an issue which had been heavily pushed by Argentina. In doing so, the United States sided not only with Buenos Aires, but also with a number of anti-American regimes including Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela and Daniel Ortega’s Nicaragua.

The declaration calls for Argentina and Great Britain to enter into negotiations over the sovereignty of the Falklands, a position which London has long viewed as completely unacceptable. It also comes in the wake of increasing aggression by the Kirchner regime in the past 18 months, including threats to blockade British shipping in the South Atlantic.

It is hugely disappointing that the Obama administration has chosen once again to side not only with the increasingly authoritarian regime in Argentina, but also with an array of despots in Latin America against British interests. Mrs Clinton should be reminded that 255 brave British servicemen laid down their lives in 1982 for the freedom of the Falkland Islanders, who are overwhelmingly British, following the brutal Argentine invasion.

The sovereignty of the Islands is not a matter for negotiation, and Britain will never give in to threats from Argentina or its tyrannical allies in places such as Venezuela. The White House recently declared that Britain remains America’s most important ally. Now it should live up to its words by supporting Washington’s closest friend and partner on matters of vital British interest, including the future of British subjects living in the South Atlantic, whose only wish is to remain free under the protection of the Union Jack.

Obama Starts Fourth Secret War in Yemen

I will consider our military is stretch too thin to be effective. We are now involved in 4 wars. Obama is intending to match Bush's war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Currently, Obama is responsible for the Iraq War, the good war in Afghanistan, the "short" war in Libya, and the "secret" war in Yemen. If Obama wants to cut the budget of the military and handle 4 wars simultaneously, the president is an idiot!

(NY TIMES) WASHINGTON — The Obama administration has intensified the American covert war in Yemen, exploiting a growing power vacuum in the country to strike at militant suspects with armed drones and fighter jets, according to American officials.

The acceleration of the American campaign in recent weeks comes amid a violent conflict in Yemen that has left the government in Sana, a United States ally, struggling to cling to power. Yemeni troops that had been battling militants linked to Al Qaeda in the south have been pulled back to the capital, and American officials see the strikes as one of the few options to keep the militants from consolidating power.

The recent operations come after a nearly year-long pause in American airstrikes, which were halted amid concerns that poor intelligence had led to bungled missions and civilian deaths that were undercutting the goals of the secret campaign.

Officials in Washington said that the American and Saudi spy services had been receiving more information — from electronic eavesdropping and informants — about the possible locations of militants. But, they added, the outbreak of the wider conflict in Yemen created a new risk: that one faction might feed information to the Americans that could trigger air strikes against a rival group.

The American campaign in Yemen is led by the Pentagon’s Joint Special Operations Command, and is closely coordinated with the Central Intelligence Agency. Teams of American military and intelligence operatives have a command post in Sana, the Yemeni capital, to track intelligence about militants in Yemen and plot future strikes.

The extent of America’s war in Yemen has been among the Obama administration’s most closely guarded secrets, as officials worried that news of unilateral American operations could undermine Mr. Saleh’s tenuous grip on power. Mr. Saleh authorized American missions in Yemen in 2009, but placed limits on their scope and has said publicly that all military operations had been conducted by his own troops.
