ALL I CAN SAY, "REALLY??" LOL....SMH
Referring to President Roosevelt's foreign policy quote about "speaking softly and carrying a big stick," Biden told the crowd that Obama followed a similar path while negotiating with Iran.
"I promise you, the president has a big stick. I promise you," Biden said as the crowd laughed.

As of Monday, April 23, 2012, Mother nature still dictates that she controls the weather. Global warming is a hoax. We are entering into a mini ice-age.
As far I am concern, if scientist were adamant about the coming ice-age, global warming has been a concocted money making scheme by the government.

America is not producing goods. Americans aren't spending. We are still in a recession. No matter how the media will try to manipulate the news, the US credit is in the tank. However, you can still count on the government to spend on foolish needs.
(Bloomberg) Egan-Jones Ratings Co. cut the U.S. credit rating one step to AA, the second downgrade in nine months and two levels below its highest grade, with a negative outlook citing the nation’s increasing debt burden.
U.S. debt has increased to 100 percent of gross domestic product, while debt climbed 23.6 percent from 2008 to 2010, the credit-rating firm said in a statement today. Egan-Jones lowered the U.S. grade to AA+ in a July. Treasuries have gained 4.6 percent since the company first lowered the U.S. rating, according to Bank of America Merrill Lynch index data.
The downgrade was based on “the increasing debt load coupled with the fact that there has been no tangible progress in addressing the country’s growing debt to GDP” ratio, Sean Egan, president of Egan-Jones in Haverford, Pennsylvania, said today in a telephone interview. “Unfortunately, the debt is growing fairly rapidly while the GDP is not.”

A record 5.4 million workers and their dependents have signed up to collect federal disability checks since President Obama took office, according to the latest official government data, as discouraged workers increasingly give up looking for jobs and take advantage of the federal program.
Under Obama, his economic policy has failed. There are more people going on food stamp. There are more people without jobs. There are more people collecting long term disability. It will be a miracle if Obama win in November. Obama can be known as the food stamp president
(WSJ) The Congressional Budget Office said Thursday that 45 million people in 2011 received Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits, a 70% increase from 2007. It said the number of people receiving the benefits, commonly known as food stamps, would continue growing until 2014.
Spending for the program, not including administrative costs, rose to $72 billion in 2011, up from $30 billion four years earlier. The CBO projected that one in seven U.S. residents received food stamps last year.
In a report, the CBO said roughly two-thirds of jump in spending was tied to an increase in the number of people participating in the program, which provides access to food for the poor, elderly, and disabled. It said another 20% “of the growth in spending can be attributed to temporarily higher benefit amounts enacted in the” 2009 stimulus law.

Put Democrats in charge, everything goes to pot. This is a good example why Democrats can not run a government. I don't recall a Democrat Majority as a good thing.
(Washington Examiner) In her latest report, Secretary of the Senate Nancy Erickson revealed a slew of data that put the first session of the 112th Senate at the bottom of Senates since 1992 in legislative productivity, an especially damning finding considering that it wasn’t an election year when congressional action is usually lower.
For example, while the Democratically-controlled Senate was in session for 170 days, it spent an average of just 6.5 hours in session on those days, the second lowest since 1992. Only 2008 logged a lower average of 5.4 hours a day, and that’s when action was put off because several senators were running for president, among them Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John McCain.
The truth comes out. From the choices of evil foes that the UK could choice, they pick George Washington as the enemy of Great Britain. Finally, after all these years, they are still pissed at us. LOL
(Telegraph) The American (George Washington) was voted the winner in a contest run by the National Army Museum to identify the country's most outstanding military opponent.
He was one of a shortlist of five leaders who topped a public poll and on Saturday was selected as the ultimate winner by an audience of around 70 guests at a special event at the museum, in Chelsea, west London.
In second place was Michael Collins, the Irish leader, ahead of Napoleon Bonaparte, Erwin Rommel and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
At the event, each contender had their case made by a historian giving a 40 minute presentation. The audience, who had paid to attend the day, then voted in a secret ballot after all five presentations had been made.
Dr Stephen Brumwell, who had championed Washington, said: "As British officers conceded, he was a worthy opponent."
(IJREVIEW) An executive order that Barack Obama signed the other day is making headlines all over the nation. The title of the executive order is “National Defense Resources Preparedness” and it is actually an update of a series of previous executive orders.
The original “National Defense Resources Preparedness” executive order (EO 8248) was issued back in 1939. This latest version is very similar to EO 12919 that was signed by Bill Clinton in June 1994. However, several very important changes have been made in this new version.
For example, in Section 201(b) the words “under both emergency and non-emergency conditions” have been added.
So now the federal government can take control of all food, all energy, all health resources, all transportation resources and “all other materials, services, and facilities” in the country even if the United States is not experiencing emergency conditions.
If Barack Obama woke up one day and decided to exercise the powers in this executive order, he would be able to do pretty much anything that he wanted. This executive order would essentially allow Obama to declare a state of martial law in the United States even during a time when no emergency was happening.

What is the fascination about Tebow's virginity? New England Patriot tight end seems fixated to be the first to take Tebow's virginity. I think the tight end Rob Gronkowski just outed himself. I think Gronkowski definition of male bonding took to another level.
BOSTON (CBS) – New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski spoke at the University of Rhode Island Thursday night and he raised some eyebrows with a comment about Tim Tebow.
Gronk was taking questions from URI students at Edwards Auditorium, when one decided to play a controversial game with him.
The contestant is asked to choose which one to marry, which one to “have a roll in the hay with,” and which one to kill.
Gronkowski’s choices: Betty White, Jets head coach Rex Ryan, and his new quarterback, Tim Tebow.
“I would ‘F’ Tebow, to take his virginity,” Gronk told the audience.
Obama does not qualify for the "Warren Buffett" rule and the president paid less taxes than his secretary. In fact, I really don't hear Obama complain about the unfairness that he paid less in taxes.
(Whitehousedossier) President Obama paid a total federal tax rate in 2011 on adjusted income of $789,674 that may be lower than that of his secretary, even though she earned substantially less.
The most recent information about salary regarding Obama’s secretary is for his former secretary, Katie Johnson, who is listed by the White House as having made $90,000 in 2010.
On a $90,000 salary, she would pay $16,578 in federal taxes, $3,780 to Social Security, and $1,305 in Medicare taxes.
That adds up to a total federal tax burden of $21,663 on $90,000 in adjusted gross income, or a tax rate of 24 percent.
Obama’s federal income tax rate was 20.5 percent. If you include the Medicare and Social Security taxes paid by Obama, his total federal tax liability is 21.8 percent, fully two percent less than that of his secretary even though his adjusted gross income was nearly nine times hers.

Economist will try to soften the bad news, but the reality is that economy sucks. Obama's economic policy is destroying America. Numbers can fool the American people, but scrambling to live in a bad economy is the reality we face.
(CNBC) The number of Americans filing for jobless aid rose last week to the highest level since January, a development that could raise fears the labor market recovery was stalling after job creation slowed in March.
Initial claims for state unemployment benefits increased 13,000 to a seasonally adjusted 380,000, the Labor Department said on Thursday, defying economists' expectations for a drop to 355,000.
The four-week moving average for new claims, considered a better measure of labor market trends, rose 4,250 to 368,500.
The claims data comes in the wake of Friday's disappointing employment report for March, which showed the economy created 120,000 new jobs, the smallest amount since October.

Obama is place on notice with his use of fuzzy math to determine the cost of Obamacare. However, Obama is still in denial. SMH.....
(Yahoo) WASHINGTON (AP) — Reigniting a debate about the bottom line for President Barack Obama's health care law, a leading conservative economist estimates in a study to be released Tuesday that the overhaul will add at least $340 billion to the deficit, not reduce it.
Charles Blahous, who serves as public trustee overseeing Medicare and Social Security finances, also suggested that federal accounting practices have obscured the true fiscal impact of the legislation, the fate of which is now in the hands of the Supreme Court.
Officially, the health care law is still projected to help reduce government red ink. The Congressional Budget Office, the government's nonpartisan fiscal umpire, said in an estimate last year that repealing the law actually would increase deficits by $210 billion from 2012 to 2021.
The CBO, however, has not updated that projection. If $210 billion sounds like a big cushion, it's not. The government has recently been running annual deficits in the $1 trillion range.
The Fed believes it is possible to plug the hole of a sinking Titanic. One word- MORON! Now, Washington is trying to insult the intelligence of the American people. Washington and the MSM can lie and put spin all they want, but November, the American people will answer back! I cant wait till the end of the year to see the actual unemployment rate. It will not be 7.8%.
(Bloomberg) Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President James Bullard said an improving U.S. economy may push the unemployment rate down to 7.8 percent by year’s end, and the central bank will probably keep policy unchanged while it waits for more evidence of expansion.
“For right now we’ll stick with the idea that the economy will generally be better in 2012 than 2011,” Bullard said on Bloomberg Radio’s “The Hays Advantage” with Kathleen Hays today. “So far in 2012 the economy has surprised on the upside” and usually when that happens Fed policy makers “will want to get confirmation of that by waiting for more data.”
U.S. job growth slowed in March even as the manufacturing and services sectors continued to signal growth, underscoring the mixed signals policy makers are parsing as they track the recovery’s progress. Fed officials last month said they would favor renewed easing only if growth falters or inflation falls below the 2 percent target, minutes of the meeting showed.
“Unemployment will continue to tick down this year as long as the expansion keeps going,” Bullard, 51, said in the interview in St. Louis.
In positive signs for the economy, both manufacturing and services continued to rebound in March, according to the Institute for Supply Management’s indexes of the two sectors released last week. Still, U.S. employers added 120,000 jobs in March, compared with 240,000 in February, according to Labor Department figures released April 6.

If Obama win in November, we deserve the grief and sorrow for the stupidity to allow it to happen.
(USNEWS) Marking the similarities between President Barack Obama's time in office and former president Jimmy Carter's is nothing new. But as of Monday, Obama has hit one more Carter benchmark - both saw gas prices double in their first term of office. [See Where Gas Prices are Spiking the Most]
In fact, while just barely, Obama has seen an even higher gas price increase than Carter dealt with under his administration.
Under the Carter administration, gas prices increased by 103.77 percent. Gas prices since Obama took office have risen by 103.79 percent. No other presidents in recent years have struggled as much with soaring oil prices. Under the Reagan administration, gas prices actually dropped 66 percent. When Bill Clinton was president, gas prices grew by roughly 30 percent, and under both Bush presidencies, gas prices rose by 20 percent.

The race is close. The media is desperate to see a Romney vs Obama in November. It is all about the rating. Mathematically, it is difficult to get the magic number of delegates if all 4 candidates are still in the race. Again, the media is following Obama's fuzzy math to calculate the delegate count. Unless couple candidates drop out, we will see a brokered convention in August.
(WND) A report released today by the Rick Santorum campaign says that the GOP primary tabulations being assembled by the media are wrong – and the former Pennsylvania senator actually is much closer to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney than is being portrayed.
And the report said Santorum will follow what always was expected to be a “difficult” month of April with the possibility of up to seven victories in May, which would leave him “heading into the June 5th primaries with a freight train of momentum.”
The report by Strategic National was released this afternoon by the campaign.
The report says a much more accurate assessment of the delegate totals in the GOP nomination race at this point is 571 for Romney, 342 for Santorum, 158 for Newt Gingrich and 91 for Ron Paul.
The Wall Street Journal, on the other hand, lists 658 for Romeny, 281 for Santorum, 135 for Gingrich and 51 for Ron Paul. Real Clear Politics lists 655 for Romney, 272 for Santorum, 140 for Gingrich and 67 for Paul..
The report released by Santorum’s campaign said, “There are a couple of fundamental flaws with the delegate counts that the media keeps that reveals that this race is much closer than they report.”

At this point, Obama is completely confused on his positions because he is an idiot. Obama had to tell reporters to walk gingerly when they try to decipher the president's double talk.
"This bears on your reporting," President Obama said to journalists. "I think that there is oftentimes the impulse to suggest that if the two parties are disagreeing then they're equally at fault and the truth lies somewhere in the middle. And an equivalence is presented which I think reinforces peoples' cynicism about Washington in general. This is not one of those situations where there's an equivalency."
"As all of you are doing your reporting, I think it's important to remember that the positions that I am taking now on the budget and a host of other issues. if we had been having this discussion 20 years ago or even 15 years ago … would've been considered squarely centrist positions," Obama said a few moments later.

Palin will show Couric how to bring up the rating on "Today". It would be a nice, sweet revenge and slap on the face to Couric when Palin takes over as guest host on "Today".
(Breitbart) When news broke that Katie Couric will be filling in for Robin Roberts next week on ABC's "Good Morning America," the country yawned. Or, at least we did, until we learned that NBC plans to pit "The Rogue Warrior" against "The Perky One": Sarah Palin will be guest-hosting "Today" this Tuesday.
"I see this as a good opportunity to bring an independent, common-sense conservative perspective to NBC. We’re 'going rogue' and infiltrating some turf for a day,” Palin told Breitbart News.
Palin and Couric will be squaring off, in a sense, for the first time since their controversial interview on the 2008 campaign trail.
